First visit, definitely won't be the last, really relaxed, semi-industrial feel to the place. Great service, chilled, attentive and interactive.
All our Pizzas were excellent without exception..... the side salad was special too..... good mix and well dressed (a rarity these days.....
Overall - a great local, off the grid pizza place..... go support it... but spare a table for us 😋
We read the reviews and thought, 'surely not'...over 280 5* reviews. No restaurant ever achieves that. Then we dined at the Salty Bay Pizza Kitchen (remember that name!) and realised why. The service is wonderful, the food is absolutely fantastic (so much so I forgot to take photos before diving in), the ambience is great, and EVERYONE in this restaurant is working so hard to make sure each food experience a good one. The constant work of the chefs in the kitchen did not go unnoticed. Our server was friendly and attentive without being intrusive. The balance was perfect. This is what it takes to be the best.
To find out this place is on our doorstep is one of our great finds of 2023. We will certainly return and work through the extensive menu. (Oh, and the ice cream shakes are to die for!)

The food, the atmosphere, the staff - everything was so nice! First of all, their menu was massive!! It has so so many options to pick out from that it makes selection a bit tough. They even customise pizza which is a bonus. I tried out the Hell fire pizza (if I remember it correctly) alongside with bbq tacos. Not to mention the tacos itself were huge in portion even if they only gave two. It was so rich, flavorful and filling with the chicken being equally crispy and soft. On the other hand, the pizzas were fresh and amazingly delicious and did satisfy our taste buds😋 would really love to go back there when we visit Cornwall again.

Really good wood fired bases. Chose the 4 cheese one and added brisket which was a great choice. My wife had the gluten free caramelised fennel one which was equally fantastic. Their understanding of allergens is top quality. Gluten free is actually prepared and cooked separately - most chain pizza places cook them in the same oven as gluten pizzas which is crazy. Would definitely recommend Salty Bay pizza kitchen and will return when we're next down in Cornwall.
What an absolute corker of a restaurant, tucked away on an industrial estate just outside st austell it is 100% worth the trip. Got to be in my top 5 pizzas of all time the flavours and base were delicious, as were the chicken bites. Really caught us off guard this one with the quality and value. Would definitely return!
Absolutely gutted that every time I fancy a pizza I’m going to have to drive from Newquay to St Austell because this place is unrivalled. Easily the best pizza I’ve had in a long time. Staff member was lovely. Really nice atmosphere. Very well priced.
Walked in and was able to get a table for two but the place was full by the time we left. Excellent service, delicious vegan pizzas with lots of options, we both agreed these were the best vegan pizzas we have had! Yummy 😋
I was staying at the Premier inn just around the corner. The pizza was one of the best I have tasted this year. The salad was massive and full of flavour which included onions pickled in raspberry vinegar, the most delicious little morsels of loveliness
Found this little gem just be searching via Google. Due to having coeliac disease, it makes it hard to find anywhere that can safely cater gluten free. It was such a blessing to find this place could do most of their menu gluten free and keep all food and preparation separate, so it was safe for a coeliac.
Nice food and good variety.
Super friendly and polite service. You feel welcomed when you enter the establishment, both by the sophisticated atmosphere and front of house. Pizza is Italian style so cannot fault it in any way. Skinny fries are perfectly cooked, and the portion is hearty too. This is a fantastic pizzeria and you won't find better anywhere for hundreds of miles, so totally worth a visit in my opinion.
