Five stars, absolutely fantastic. I have been ordering from Fortune House for over a year and a half now and have never been even slightly disappointed. Food always arrives quickly and is piping hot (sometimes I have to be careful opening the tubs). The food is of incredible quality and is about as authentic as you are going to get from a takeaway. I have had many years of involvement with the Chinese community and used to perform the lion dance every Chinese New Year for over 15 years on behalf of the British Taijiquan and Shaolin Wushu Association, and as such I have eaten home made and restaurant food prepared in a traditional fashion as a New Year feast for the entire Chinese community of Corby many times, including many dishes that you won't find in any takeaway. I KNOW good Chinese food and this is definitely it. There are some terrible Chinese takeaways about and this IS NOT ONE OF THEM. The set meals are incredible value and the set meal for two is ALWAYS way to much for me and my partner to eat in one sitting. I have never had to complain once and if I didn't feel like I would be bothering them, I would phone after every meal to offer my compliments. When I moved to Cornwall I was SO worried that I wouldn't be able to find a decent Chinese but I am very glad that I eventually found Fortune House as they have never let me down and if I have had people over and ordered food from here, my guests have always been as impressed as myself. Once again, fantastic food, beautifully prepared, great value for money. What more do you need to know? Chī hǎo hē hǎo.

Ordered my food online and never used this chinese before. Well i will definatley use again . Food was excellent and big portions. Used online oder to deliver to pentewan and it told me an hour delivery which was fine got delivered piping hot in 4t minutes . Delivery driver was great. Thankyou fortune house. Will recommend you to all friends. X
Tried here for the first time a few weeks ago and the food was amazing! Really good quality and huge portions! I ordered some ribs and I'm sure I had a full rack in there! Really tasty and would highly recommend. We did get duck in orange sauce instead of plum sauce in error but it was still really tasty anyway!
I've only ever had food delivered from here. The delivery staff are amazing, especially Margo and another chap. The food is very good now since they've been taken over and always arrives well before the estimated delivery time.
Lady behind counter is very friendly and smiley and food is cooked nicely to my liking
Never had any problems and have taken out from them for years! Going to again tonight :) Best value and great taste. Sometime you have to wait as the food is cooked from fresh and worth the wait!!
Margot the delivery driver is always pleasant and friendly regardless how busy they are or even if it is raining cats and dogs!

We ordered through a takeaway app, the food arrived on time and the delivery driver was lovely. The food was delicious, very hot, tasted fresh and the portion sizes were huge. This is the 3rd meal we have had from here and they have all been consistently good, very happy
I'm not quite sure what the fuss is about, this is quite literally the best Chinese take away I've frequented. The zero score food hygiene rating just adds to the ambience of the meal. You should not hesitate to try this establishment, you'll not be sorry for long , yes siree.

Always fast, always hot, always tasty! No idea why they have so many bad reviews, we order at least once a month and enjoy it very much. As for the drivers, some have personality, but nothing I would consider rude. They talk with my kids, and are in general friendly. Stop reading and order already ;)
