After years of supporting another local chip shop they had a change of ownership and, whilst their shop was closed for a refit, some friends called in here and were mightily impressed.

Just returned from our lovely stay in Cornwall and must thank Walkers in St Austell for the best fish and chips take away. We had it on 2 occasions and they were both gorgeous. Freshly fried chips and fish and mushy peas mmm! Sorry no photo we couldn’t wait to eat them. You may even get a sing song
We had cod, haddock, chips, mushy peas and baked beans and we ate in the restaurant. The staff were nice and friendly. The fish was crispy and nice, and the chips were yummy, proper chippy chips.

A lovely and clean chip shop with lots of tables. Plenty of value for money with the portion sizes, and that perfect level of too-good-to-stop-eating greasiness. Flavourful fish and fluffy chips.
