Absolutely amazing pub, lovely place & very friendly staff who made us feel very welcome ! If you are in Cornwall it’s a must to visit !
We found this by accident but what a find,great family run pub we only called in for one drink but finished stopping all night till closing time - good selection on beers and largers only place we found that sells Carling larger and was spot on - thanks again for a fab night /Sunday karaoke good job I wasn't at work next day
We found this place by accident thank god we did we loved it,we landed up going back again the fish was the best we have had.

Lovely fish n chips, brilliant atmosphere, old school pub games and quirky decor make a great combination in this old (School?) building. Staff very friendly and attentive. Will definitely revisit next time we’re down that way x

Had the feel of a good community pub with really friendly mgmt/staff.
Only a small choice of beer, but what they had was excellent.
Nice beer garden, free to use bouncy castle for the kids.
Phoned last minute on a Monday night to see if they were serving food. Great service we could have anything off the menu lunch or dinner. Very friendly staff and good atmosphere. The food was very nice (Mac and cheese, Fish Pie and Hunters chicken)and reasonably priced. Will add to our list of places to return too.
Discovered this little gem on a walk through the woods. The owners were so welcoming as were the staff and the locals, we ended coming back for a night out and had a brilliant night. The dirty fries were spot on 👍Can’t wait to go back again.
Can't believe we not been here before, very friendly staff , had a bit of banter with one of them. The foodd was amazin, and the beer and food prices are Great. with will plenty for the kids to do with a bouncy castle rope swing pool table, and fun pub games will be back soon ..
Popped in just for a drink & snack with the grandkids, after walking through the woods,,,, young lady serving was very good, helpful & efficient. A little disappointed in the bar , we were expecting a lovely little cottage atmosphere ,as in (in the woods,) where the wicked witch was stoking the fire & wood sprites & fairies were hiding ... but it was more like a hall ,with sports ... never mind ,,, the drinks & snacks were nice ,, 😂
Absolutely fabulous pub, made very welcome buy all staff, and landlord and landlady, if we known it before we arrived, would have come here sooner.

Unusual place, from the outside its a gorgeous old pub, the inside however is a bit odd, bit like a social club/youth club type setting. The outside area is lovely to sit, but sadly there are rooms you can see into, which are full of furniture, old bits n pieces, which is such a shame, as you can tell its a popular place for holiday makers. The staff are very friendly, and the service excellent.

Amazing food, drinks and hospitality. A proper pub in my book. Huge selection of spirits, beers, wine and cider. Just eaten during our stay and the Sunday lunch was to die for. Went for the chicken, bacon and mushroom pie.

Went here for the first time today. Lovely staff, fab coffee, lovely clean toilets, great selection behind the bar. Different evening activities. Was so nice we went back again for another coffee. Have already recommended to my friends and will definitely go back again soon.
