10/10! Popped in for a coffee cake and sourdough panini and everything was perfect. Definitely the tastiest coffee I've had in St Andrews. Service was with a smile and David's latte work is on point! Love the fact they are dog friendly and I never have to worry about somewhere to go for lunch when with my pup. Highly recommend popping in to anyone in the area, with a lot of places to choose from, black sheep is great for catering to allergies too!
A great coffee spot and my new personal fave in St Andrews. From the easy ordering to the choice of roasts, Black Sheep has you covered. You can donate a coffee for someone in need or leave one for your fave barista or crush. The seating area looks spacious and comfortable but I always take away so haven’t tried it out. Definitely keeps me coming back!
10/10 !Sami was so friendly and kind hearted to me when I was so rushed and nervous.Since This was my first visit to St Andrews this place and staff gives me a good impression.As I’m a Sri Lanka I’m so delighted on there generosity.The place was calm and quite.Coffee was perfect.
Probably the best coffee in St Andrews! It’s always made really well, never burnt, and not overly sweet. The staff is always super friendly and it’s got a great atmosphere, especially if you’re looking to study or get some work done. Cannot recommend this place enough
I am going to this cafe from time to time and it’s always so nice there. Calm and just lovely atmosphere. Love the menu. It’s a good choice for everyone. Coffees tested so differently from other cafes and that’s why I love it. Stuff is so lovely and friendly. Very helpful. Thank you so much for your wonderfully service guys! 🌟🙌🥰💓
Always a nice relaxed atmosphere, staff very efficient and friendly even under duress when very busy ,they do their very best for their customers .My family also come here as it’s very child friendly. It’s great that dogs are welcome to. You never have any trouble with buggies or space to park them and so wheelchair friendly. Easy flow all the way through.
This is the best coffee shop in St. Andrews. I was here for two weeks for school during the summer from the U.S. and it was the coffee shop where I got most of my work done. The coffee and hot chocolate is delectable and their waffles are to die for. The staff is always friendly and greats their customers with a smile on their face.
On a more serious note, the staff and management of the Black Sheep went above and beyond when I lost my bag that had my passport. They took the situation very serious and kept looking around the shop, in the back, and on their cameras. They kept in constant contact with me until I was able to find my bag the next day. Cannot recommend this coffee shop more! Thank you!!!
I liked ordering machines. I think that it can increase their serving accuracy. Also the painting on the walls show St.Andrews vive more. Waffle (specially Nutella waffle was amazing!) and coffee menus are nice.
Just one thing, plz set sitting area more. No idea why you guys let massive empty inside (toilet area).
The past three days, the staff here have made me the best drink ever- it's a London fog made with green tea or something. It is the best thing I've ever had. please put it on the menu
Excellent coffee shop, the coffee is superb. Lots of space as well, the space goes back and back, so there's often a free seat or stool.
I was very happy to see a cafe open at 7:30pm in St Andrews. Elliott was a super friendly barista. Great craft coffee. After 7pm you might be lucky enough for a free pastry as the employees like to reduce food waste before the day ends!
Pretty good coffee! The cookies went down well with the kid too.
Dog friendly is a bonus. Needs some more seating but looks like they are expanding through the back.

I popped in this morning for a coffee and it was 10/10! Mark the barista was very friendly and recommended the blue volcano for my latte, and then David gave me some advice on how to grind my coffee at home!

I've been going here for coffee for the past year and it's consistently great! The staff are incredibly friendly and always make a great coffee. They always offer a treat for my dog if he's with me too!
My wife and I spent a week in St. Andrews, visiting from San Diego, CA, and Black Sheep Coffee became our home-away-from-home coffee shop. We had a number of different coffee drinks that were all excellent and the service was personable and superp. The shop has a chill, easy going vibe as well. If you find yourself in St. Andrews be sure to stop in for a coffee at Black Sheep.
Great Coffee and one of the best Blueberry Muffins ever eaten. Worth every penny.
Really intimate medium sized coffee shop, coffee was really nice and strong, hot chocolate was spot on. Ordering is by touch pad, which it seems some people don't like too much, and left to go a few doors up to stand in a baking hot Starbucks queue.Get over it, it's 2023. Use the blooming touch pad, it's not difficult. Staff were friendly and helpful, especially when I couldn't find stuff on the touchpad :)
All in all a good experience and this is now my go to coffee place
