Looks small from outside but it is actually big. Nicely decorated place. Very warm and polite servers. One of the best Italian food I have ever had in the world. Lively place. Must visit.

The food is quite good and the atmosphere is wonderful. You won't be disappointed with this very good italian restaurant but you won't be in awe either. 4.5 stars

Nice little Italian, downside no Rose wine and a couple of things not available from menu , I had muscles instead of clams so no biggie . Service good and lovely vibrant atmosphere. Food was good as was the Red wine , would recommend

Went for dinner on Saturday, nice atmosphere and very friendly staff. Food was good, had the special starter on recommendation from the staff, it was excellent! Not a big choice of menu but good quality and beautiful presentation. There's a nice sitting area which would be an ideal place for coffee after a meal. Will be back.

Excellent cocktails delicious food - only negative point was that the rabbit ragu only had a couple pieces of rabbit in it. Still a delicious ragu!

So it started with a restruant cancelling my reservation for my husband's 50th, and ended in a truly brilliant night in Lupos. We were so well looked after by all the staff, but Liam the bartender and mixologist extrondanaire is a stand out. Friendly, engaging and all round great host. Got to meet the guy who made our meals, which were absolutely delicious. My veggie meal was sublime. We're frequent visitors to St Andrews, think we've just found our new favourite place to eat!

Incredibly friendly staff, gorgeous atmosphere and ultimately I think I had the best meal here during my week in St Andrews. I ordered the mussels to start and I can’t stop thinking about them! I also tried the small pasta starter and it t was great, too. For my main I had the monkfish which, again, was perfect. I loved my two courses so much that I had to have the chocolate mousse and some limoncello to finish the meal. I can’t wait to come back to St Andrews to eat here again. The only reason I’m taking a star off is because the wine list could have been better - the mark up is far higher than most restaurants and there aren’t any very interesting wine options. Aside from that I had an excellent evening at Lupo’s and would absolutely recommend it.

We have had two great meals here now. Both times the service has been excellent. The staff were very friendly but also helpful; when we couldn't choose a wine to have they brought us a selection to try and then let us decide on one to get. The food is simple but well-executed, as is the essence of Italian cuisine. In particular we enjoyed the carbonara, the pizza and the tiramisu. The restaurant is quite spacious inside, with a separate little bar area if you just want to come and have a drink. There are also some tables outside if that's what you are looking for. Overall we were very pleased with our visits here, and we shall be returning soon no doubt.
