I ordered a haddock fish supper to takeaway from here recently. I was very pleased to find out that Haarbour offer a gluten free batter as this is a rare treat! The fish itself was very tasty however the batter wasn't very crispy and kind of slid of the fish. Maybe it just needed longer in the fryer
Popped by for a lunch time treat. Tempura Vegetables and a kids Fish Supper. Good portions, crunchy veg comes with a tasty chilli dip. Good batter on the fish and crisp, tasty, fluffy chips. Katsu curry sauce yummy too. Will return for a bigger fish supper 🐠🍛😋
Was satisfactory good. Had kimchi fish and chips and the normal one, as well as some oysters. Nothing too special, but then again, I visited the place on its early days so it might have improved since, knowing that it is linked to Haar. Will try again when I return for a visit.
We have eaten in at this is restaurant before and it has been excellent so when we saw they had an Easter deal for takeout we thought we would give it a try. I have had a few fish suppers especially from Anstruther as I'm local but I say hand on heart this one was the best tasting, best value supper
Amazing! Likely the best fish&chips I've had! I highly recommend. There was 6 in my party, and every one of us loved our meal. Eat here when possible.
Perfect! Great little spot just off the union and west gate. Front half is for takeaway and back is for sit in. Nice minimal decor, feels like a seaside holiday! Service was great right from the start. Portions and prices were spot on as well. They do the usual fish and chips offer plus a few twist
The chips were crisper than the usual chip shop offering. The batter on the fish was light and crisp. It was a very good meal. The restaurant decor was fine. Service friendly and prompt. A great night out Having tried the standard Haddock Supper, I look forward to trying some other menu choi
Phoned a couple of times to get information and place order and service was so helpful and friendly so a good start. Then we tried the food and it got better. Haddock and chips great, Korean haddock lovely. Katsu sauce a winner too. Good size portions and everything perfectly cooked. Plus the desse
Amazing! 100% recommend and will definitely be back. I had the Coley and my partner had the Traditional Haddock. Both suppers were beautiful. Golden crispy fish and chips, not greasy. Couldn't wait to try so no pictures I'm afraid but you won't be disappointed. Wasn't personally such a fan of the G
I was excited to try this and it didn't disappoint. Fish was full of flavour and chips great too. Friendly service. I was however a bit disappointed in the portion size. The amount of chips given in a supper seemed very small for the price you pay.
