Pleasantly surprised by this place. Pizza was close enough to Neapolitan style, and the crust wasn't too burnt, which is good. Ingredients clearly fresh. Locally made buffalo mozzarella not nearly as juicy as in Italy, but tasty enough. Service very good, and prices quite reasonable.
The atmosphere and the staff are always welcoming and pleasant.
As per authentic Neapolitan pizzas the toppings were minimalistic, but they could have been spread more evenly as everyone seemed to get a random cluster.
The service can also be comparatively slow even when it's not too busy.
Visited Mozza after a few months break. Pizza was delicious. We both opened for No 5. Disappointing that chilli oil is no longer offered - much prefer that to the chilli flakes.
Service was okay, albeit a little clinical. Food and drinks were ordered and delivered to our table promptly.
Atmosphere was a little disappointing for a Saturday eve. Very quiet and no music playing.
Best pizza I've had in the UK, great tasting dough and quality topping. Staff nice and smiley; Recommended!

Quick service, very good pizza. The lucky 13 was a hit! Only lower down on the atmosphere due to the very cold air con.
Stopped at Mozza for lunch on a day trip to St. Andrews.
It was busy at just gone one and the waitress said there’d be a 10 or fifteen minute wait which is what it was before a table was free.
A slightly strange menu in that the pizzas are numbered each with a description except number 13 where you chance yourself with the chef choosing what you have on your pizza (they check spicy or not when you order).
Really tasty pizzas that were really authentic.
I chanced the number 13 and that was a delicious mix of salami and sausage.
The staff were friendly and helpful and around when needed.
Would thoroughly recommend
All good with great food , service was a bit sketchy but didn’t ruin the visit
Pretty good value for a lot of food! The pizzas are really big, and very tasty. I would particularly recommend the focaccia (we had one with pear and walnuts), and the homemade pesto dip!
My family have been going to Mozza in Dundee for some time. It has recently closed, temporarily I hope, so we made the trip to St Andrews for a little treat for my daughter, as it's her favourite restaurant.
We hadn't visited this Mozza before, and having had a look at the reviews, I was a little concerned regarding the service and quality of the food. However, my experience could not be further away from the negative reviews.
We visited at 4PM on a Sunday. The restaurant was quiet, with only two other tables seated. The staff were all very pleasant, which has always been my experience. The pizzas were prepared to the usual high standard, and are always very tasty. I've never found the menu difficult to understand, or overcomplicated at all.
I can't speak to the negative reviews but I can say that, if they're truthful, I would suggest that they are exceptions. I saw nothing to suggest that this restaurant is run any differently from the Dundee branch and both are excellent.
Can be busy during lunch time. But lunch deals are a steal!! Portions are huge with reasonable amount of toppings, baked in a wood oven. Most times I can only finish half a pizza (have my other half Fabby!) and I am considered a big guy!
We went to mozzo for lunch and it exceeded our expectations. The pizza was made in a wood fired oven and was really tasty. We ordered one each and they were huge lol you could easily share it with one other person and it would be more than enough. Our waitress was really lovely. Will definitely visit again when in St Andrews.
We discovered this pizzeria when briefly trying to explore the area on the way back to Edinburgh and as this was one of a very few places that was still open in the late evening and suited our tastes, we decided to try it out. The interiors are stylish and laid back and the menu is straight to the point. We absolutely loved the dough on both our pizzas and the size is very generous. If I'm there again, I would try out the bruschettas and burratta as well as they sounded delicious. The service was fast at this time of the day, but I imagine this place might be busy at lunchtime. Loved that Mozza offers the choice to take the leftovers with you (at a small charge for the box), not that we had anything left. A definite gem to come back to if we're in the area again!
Had a delicious pizza here for lunch. Really enjoyed our meal and drinks. Friendly and efficient service too!
Rubbish service but excellent pizza (most of the time). I've heard horror stories from a few people and occasionally had slightly burnt pizza but overall Mozza has always delivered a nice good-value for money dinner. Eat in and takeaway prices are both very reasonable and there are regular deals. The vibe is nice and student-friendly. The pizza options are extensive and surprising. All in all a good experience.
