Good fish and chips. Fish was crispy and light and chips were nicely done. A bit disappointed that no tartare sauce came with fish and chips and we were not ask if we wanted to add it while ordering. Too lazy to go back into the queue just to get tartare sauce.
The fish is very well fried and tasty. The fries are soggy and too big, so just buy the haddock. No seagulls bothered us even outside. Oddly the vinegar tasted like nothing and the garlic mayo was okay. However the portion is large and good tasting fresh fish.
Blimey, what a meal. I couldn't leave the U.K. without fish and chips. I might have overdone it, given I had fish and chips, fried haggis, mushy peas, and gravy. I could feel my cholesterol going up with each bite, lol. It was so delicious
We had the king prawns, haddock, chips, & mushy peas. The chips were too big & cold/didn’t seem cooked through all the way. However, the chips were greatly outshone by the king prawns, haddock, & mushy peas! I would recommend all three, don’t order the chips. Get tartar sauce on the side as well! Th
One of the best fish and chips I've ever had. Friendly service and fresh food. Highly recommended.
If you're in St Andrews and want to try some traditional fish & chips, this is the right place for you.
Great Fish and Chips the staff are really friendly. I really recommend this place if you want a good chippy. Please don't go to "The Tailend restaurant" the staff there are not so welcoming especially when not busy. Anyways its a great experience here, fantastic food the Fish is fresh and just fl
Lovely chips, crispy and tasted very fresh, not greasy at all. Only given 4 stars as not as nice as some other chips shops in the area but would definitely come back if in St Andrews, Update Jan 2023 still lovely chips, golden crispy and not at all greasy. Lovely chips if in St Andrew's
The best fish and chips! So damn good!
Big portions! We chose to eat at a table outside and as the girl serving delivered our sauces, the wind caught the tray and 3 of us ended up covered in it. I did think we might get offered a freebie or one meal refunded as there were 5 of us but we didn't. It would have been the nicest thing to do a
Did an evening motorbike ride to St Andrews with some friends. Was made to feel very welcome by serving staff. Cool chip shop/cafe decorated as a bit of a surfer shack. We sat outside to enjoy our food on a sunny evening... lovely.
