It's a must visit location when in St Andrews every time I visit Scotland I have to at least have one visit. The staff are great the food if great and it's just one of those places you won't forget in a long time for all the good reasons You must go and give it a try you won't be disappointed from brecfadt to lunch the stake bagget is the best I've had and the scones are a must with a cup of tea and cream. Will be back next time in Scotland for sure. You must go give it a go.

Quirky setting; lots of fascinating vintage things to look at, cosy and friendly. The food is fresh and interesting and consistently good. Service is friendly and polite. Gets very busy at lunchtime, so go early as there's a fairly limited number of tables upstairs. I love this place and would happily recommend it.

We had an attentive, attractive, friendly waiter who made our visit quite pleasant. We enjoyed the atmosphere, the 40's music and the 40's "look" to the room. We had strawberry-mango tea, salads, toasties, and paninis. It was a delightful lunch!!

It's lovely - scones to die for - food is fresh and very tasty - coffee is excellent. You would be missing out if you didn't visit. Sometimes it's very busy upstairs - but carry outs are available and a short stroll down towards the beach . Gorgeous staff. And pleasant too !

I had the Princess of Cambridge cream scone and I can honestly say it is the nicest scone I have ever tasted! The cafe itself is delightful too with its warm ambiance and quaint decorations. The staff could not be more hospitable and welcoming and it's safe to say I will definitely be back!

Lovely quaint traditional tearoom , so nice to find in a town where the big chains have predominant positioning. Lovely lunch and coffee.

Yummy, darling. Wonderful sandwiches, scones, treats and the aroma of cooking butter. Enjoyed everything about the place. Try to go off hours as it is very popular.

A lovely place in the heart of the town to enjoy light delights at a very reasonable price. On a blustery and solemn October day, I bought a cup of chicken soup and some breakfast tea. To my delight those provisions were accompanied with a fluffy and airy roll. If I have any major critique it is that I did not immediately see the sizable, atmospheric upstairs dining area, with its rustic wooden tables and old newspaper clippings plastered on the walls. The entire cafe seemed focused on takeaway, which is fine and makes sense given its central location, but I wish that I had been able to more clearly see the inviting dining area. There are a dozen satisfying cafes in St Andrews, but you will not be disappointed if you choose this one.

The Prince of Cambridge is a must try. The best scone I had. I like it served hot, and the berries in it waived the jam. It was so fabulous, I had scone twice there within my trip.

You’ve never tried scones until you’ve tried the Prince of Cambridge scone from Gorgeous. Make sure to ask for clotted cream with it. Besides scones make sure to enjoy the atmosphere - this place feels like you are having lunch or coffee at someone’s cottage. Lovely service by Mana

Cute & cosy little cafe with delicious, simple British cafe menu. Soups, sandwiches, a few brunch items and SCONES! Lots of beautiful scones. The seating section (upstairs) is quite small (no prams or wheelchairs will get up) but really cosy and cutely decorated. The staff are friendly and the food is great.

Lovely little cafe with a kitsch wartime kitchen decor and a great playlist soundtrack. Had a great brunch, served by a friendly efficient staff member for whom nothing was too much trouble. Highly recommended and we'll be back.

A takeaway, but hides a small seating area upstairs. If you like vintage and fabulous fruit and chocolate scones, this is the one and only place to go in St.Andrews. Get there early as it only has a few tables. I will forgive them giving the scone a stupid name as it was gorgeous.

A wonderful little tearoom situated up a narrow stairway above a bakery and sandwich shop. Lovely atmosphere and very pleasant staff. The scones are huge and amazing. Interesting selection of ice tea flavours and very good coffee.

Gorgeous has a great atmosphere, hardworking staff, and excellent food. Eggs Benedict, waffles with fruit, and pancake stacks are among my favorite dishes. Also, be sure to try a scone!

Lovely themed lunch spot. I had a smoked salmon bagel which was delish, even the salad on the side was great. Finished off with a carrot cake to go. Just be warned, things are really cramped in, even more so sure to the large plastic dividers between tables for COVID safety.

Popped in during bus tour. Ordered two rolls and sausage, two soup - one lentil, one chicken and rice, two milky nescafe Soup delicious and came with half a small crusty hot dog style roll with lots of butter. Rolls and sausage were soft buttered baps containing two slightly anemic looking link sausages that looked too small for large bap. Tasty enough but couldn't help thinking another couple of minutes cooking would have been nice. I had requested the butter on the rolls and sauce was added to both before eating. I think they would have been really boring without the optional extras. Coffee was hot and strong so can't complain. Would definitely return for more soup and to try the humongous, delicious looking scones in the window. Staff were friendly and efficient. Only downside is the amount of stairs to dining area. Same amount of stairs as in a standard house. Probably not suitable for wheelchairs.

Gorgeous is a really unique cafe and has a really friendly atmosphere. They do takeaway as well as dining in, and they have a wide selection of sandwiches and cakes to choose from. The seating area upstairs is really unique and has a lot of vintage memorabilia which we found really interesting to look at. It's definitely a great place to go for a nice lunch.
