Absolutely love Balgove. The food is amazing and the staff inspiring. Was there today with my fiancée and my mum for breakfast and the staff were amazing as always. A big thank you to Helen for looking after us and postponing the food to allow my fiancée to have a cup of tea first as she is unable to eat and drink at the same time. It's obvious the staff are very passionate about what they do and it really shows. A big thank you to everyone

Absolutely fantastic place .... every single time we go there it gets better and better ... food and service is amazing at a great price, it has integrity and the produce is fantastic ... I took my mum and 10 month old daughter again today for a bite to eat prior to kite surfing and loved it so much we went back for coffee and to buy dinner on the way home ... massive thumbs up for a superb place

My first time in Scotland visiting my best friend and she brought me here for breakfast. Simply stunning! The food was amazing, staff was kind and helpful, and all the goods displayed so beautifully! One of my favorite memories of my trip for sure. Hope to visit again! - Montana, USA.

Working my way through yesterday's purchases. Two big hits so far, goats cheese and pepper quiche for late lunch yesterday and chicken, leek and bacon pie for dinner today. Yum, yum :) Looking forward to the venison burger and the pork and apple one too. And the cheese scone with coffee in the cafe was delish too.

Just enjoyed a rib eye from the shop. Fantastic flavours. Well worth the drive to stock up on the steaks, burgers, beef olives, and freshly cooked pies and scones. We will be back Had the delivery service a couple of times and it was great.

My favourite place to eat. Simple, honest, great quality food at such a reasonable price point. On trend deli and cook books. I have one day off a week and this is where I like to spend it. Inspirational business. Can't wait to try the steak barn.

Stopped here today on the way home from St Andrews, bought a rack of lamb, that we had for dinner tonight, absolutely delicious, never tasted lamb so good. Had it with broccoli and potatoes from the shop, also super fresh and bursting with flavour. Have got silverside for Sunday......can’t wait!

Stopped in at the Balgove Larder today for the first time and I was really impressed. The butcher's, Deli and Gin selection was amazing. Great to see a familiar face in James the butcher and his amazing food.

The cafe was excellent, I had a ploughman's salad and hot chocolate that were both delicious. I also enjoyed looking around the store attached to the cafe.

Balgove Larder is a fantastic place for your weekly healthy shopping. The impressive selection of local produce they showcase is a true testament to their commitment to supporting local suppliers. The butcher counter, in particular, stands out as exceptional. The unparalleled quality and diverse offerings make every trip a culinary journey.

The farmshop is simply true to its nature , great food , great staff and fabulous products ! The cheese , meats , butchery , the pizza box, steak barn the coffee and so much more ! To make it easy the location is spot on just outside or just before St andrews ! A simply must visit ! We had amazing lunch and it was easy on the purse with a lot to choose from

Best place to buy your steaks from independent butchers, always. This place has so much to offer. From fresh produce to dry goods and preserves. The person at the till disappears for a few min. as the queue lengthens. It was a busy time and there seemed to be a shortage of staff in attendance. What a downer.

The food, drink, and cakes were lovely. We had to wait a long time to be served, had to ask someone to take out order. Other people who came in after us had been served their food , before our order was taken. Long wait to pay too which is a shame because its a lovely place. Wouldn't put me off going back, and giving it anther chance.

A beautiful setting and really nice farm shop with cafe. The meat and poultry counter is a sight to behold. The fresh cheeses and breads are also high quality. Great local produce on offer. Let down by heavily marked up prices for things like Scottish beers and gins, which you can find for much less in your local supermarket.
