Cannot recommend this place enough !! Came upon it by chance on a visit to St Andrews. The food , service and value for money was exceptional. My Staghorn Venison burger with its caramelised red onion chutney was delicious as was my girlfriend's Blackhorn burger with their own signature sauce. The loaded fries topped with chives, horseradish cream and bacon were to die for!! Children catered for as well with high chairs and colouring books. Oh, and have I mentioned the music !!
Went to St Andrews today and spotted this place. My wife and I both agree we just ate the best burgers, fries and onion rings we’ve ever had. And I’ve had a lot of burger meals �

Discovered this fantastic diner in November, went back last week and cant recommend it highly enough. Lovely surroundings, unpretentious, comfortable and spacious. Service is excellent, staff are welcoming and polite, a few more smiles maybe...? Then there is the food - well there are not enough words to express just how good it is, simply served, delicious, uncomplicated, fantastic - WOW! The prices for St Andrews are very reasonable- great value for money. Took some leaflets and have been giving out to friends and family as its one of the best discoveries I have found in St Andrews in recent years. Well done to the owners and all the staff - brilliant job, we look forward to coming back again.

Not sure why the negative comments. This was my first visit back to my hometown for several years and I saw this place. For the price the food was lovely, quick and polite service and pleasant atmosphere. Would recommend for a quick bite to eat.
Really good, unique and tasty wraps. This restaurant offers delicious wraps in the heart of St Andrews. I would recommend the wraps as they are authentic and tasty. For example they have some with goat cheese, chilli jam, pastrami and salad. Or you could get a random one! The restaurant is relatively small with some seating inside and just two tables outside. The staff are nice and friendly. I'm giving 4 stars because their burgers are average and at busy times you could wait a lot. On my visit, I waited 45 minutes which was too long. Overall, I'd recommend you visit and order a wrap.
We had the most delicious burgers here. The chips are also excellent. The guys behind the counter work very hard making sure everything is cooked, wrapped and served at a great pace. Very reasonable prices too. Blackthorn burgers is now added to our favourites list.
We loved this place and visited twice during our holiday. Our little girl said it was the best burger she'd ever had (I'd have to agree). Blond female staff member was lovely and spent time chatting to us on both visits. Looking forward to coming back in 2024! Cheers
Best burger I had in the UK by a lot. They nailed the crispiness of a nice smash burger while not having to be as thin. No idea how they pulled it off, just phenomenal. Shakes looked amazing but didn't get one.
This bills itself on its burgers and hot dogs, which are alright but not amazing. Their wraps, however, are to die for. The atmosphere is casual: you put your order in at the front and listen for your name while you sit at a table.
Staff was really great. I ate here the last night of our stay and was literally the only place that would take us at 7pm without a reservation. Food being good was an absolute plus!

The chips are seriously the best I've ever had! Super crispy on the outside and lusciously soft on the inside.
Burgers are great, kept simple, as Blackhorn claims there isn't any mucking about.
Service is alright but not great, I've been there half a dozen times but the people at the till are never very friendly - but they get the job done.
First time coming here had the Godfather Wrap it was amazing definitely be back next time I'm in St Andrew's. Oh and the sweet potato fries are amazing also.
Of all the chips I've had in my life, this place does it so consistently brilliantly. Be it dine-in or taken out, these chips are cooked to golden perfection - crisp on the outside, fluffy on the inside. Burgers are well done as well. Onion rings too. Sweet potatoes are aight.
Food was great taste wise. It was busy and service was spot on. Only issue is that the servings could have been better.
Best burgers in St Andrews, potentially the world. The secret sauce rivals the notorious Big Mac sauce. Milkshakes are great! Not cheap, but you get what you’re paying for! Service is normally quick and the staff are friendly. An absolute must visit when in St Andrews!
Good quality burger, tasted great. Atmosphere was ok, decor nice. The chocolate milkshake was also good.
Could have been better, some relish for the chips or burger etc.
