Excellent steakhouse within two blocks of the Old Course. Two or three course pairing. We opted for two courses to include steak, chips, salad, and dessert. We added oysters. With three rounds of the drinks the total came to about £80 including gratuity. Excellent service.
Popped in for lunch and enjoyed a good meal. Greek salad was great and chicken burger was lovely. Great location opposite the famous 18th green and the St Andrews Golf shop.
Prompt service. Appeared one of the waiters was still learning or newish.
He did a great job.
Steak was cooked perfectly.
Pepper sauce could of been more peppery.
Waiters went out of their way to please the diners.

Nice decor, felt very traditional and felt family owned. Lovely food, but thought the supplements for the steaks where a bit high, that said we all enjoyed them. Very good service for the duration. Very happy with the COVID protocols
Fabulous food and service. My steak was cooked perfectly. I had the smoked chocolate ganache it was amazing. Definitely recommend Playfair's. Had a coffee with homemade chocolates absolutely delicious.
