We always love visiting the Seafood restaurant. Food is consistently good. I’ve never had a bad dish.
Really high quality seasonal ingredients cooked well. No pretentious drama with foams, essences, dry ice etc. The food doesn’t need that, it speaks for itself.

I really love this restaurant, the fish is always cooked to perfection and the service efficient and friendly. It is a wee bit expensive but I believe that it’s worth the £. The food not only tastes great it looks amazing (well maybe not the risotto). The view over West Sands beach is incredible
Beautifully presented amazing food, excellent staff, very attentive, friendly and knowledgeable. Great seats in the window with a lovely sea breeze to keep us cool. Fantastic way to celebrate wedding anniversary!
Food was decent, not a great value for money though. Saffron risotto was ok, I would've liked the beans to be softer. Cod was nice and fresh, turbot was so tasty. Enjoyed the drink too.

Stopped for lunch while driving from Edinburgh to Ballater (yes, not exactly on the way but we had time). Everything was excellent and most importantly the food. While this is a seafood restaurant, the lamb was the best. Good wine by glass selection.
Easily one of the best meals I've ever eaten anywhere in the world. This food could be served on a paper plate in a cave and you'd come back. As it happens, it's a glorious setting with the most wonderful staff. Can not rate it high enough. Flawless.
