THE BEST FOOD I HAVE EVER HAD! I went with two other people and we all agreed that the food was ridiculously good. I'm lucky enough to have been to one of Gordon Ramsay's restaurants, and The Vine Leaf was better than that! Good service, very nice servers. I highly recommend the three prawn dish! Th
Menu had so much to choose from. I'd like to try everything. The fig starter was amazing.
First time at The Vine Leaf. ST. Andrews and we will definitely be back. We were welcomed and shown to the table and given menus. Got our drinks and ordered. I had the Greek lamb and my husband had the Game trio. The food was amazing! Well presented and the vegetables were served separately whic
Excellent food and service. Extensive menu guaranteed to have something for everyone. Fillet steak was first class as was the lemon sole according to my better half. Highly recommended but you need to book well in advance.
We have been enjoying the food and atmosphere that Ian and Morag are masters at for 30 years. We first went in 1988 when they were a fledgling business which has gone from strength to strength. The food is always amazing from start to finish with flavour bursting from every mouthful. Great atmospher
Top Secret! Most wonderful place, the food and service are fabulous. Was delighted to bring a group of well travelled foodies to eat there recently and they were delighted with the whole experience. It is amazing value with a large selection to chose from. Would recommend the place without hesitat
Whenever we are in St Andrew's we make a bee line for the Vine Leaf. Highest quality cuisine using local produce at a reasonable price. Good choice of dishes for all tastes. Ian is a good host with a great knowledge of wine to serve with the menu. Morag produces the finest quality dishes. No visit t
Thoughtful, diverse menu with many local touches; excellent wine and cocktail offerings, fairly priced; cordial, friendly and deft table service. All in all, a hidden gem that could hold its own against any of the trendy au courant dining spots in Edinburgh or Glasgow.
have only been in a few times for a special meal as the cost can add up to £50> per person. Service has always been good with the owner being very friendly in recomending wines and ports. I tend to always have a steak of some kind and this has always been A1.
This restaurant is fantastic. The food in the evening and the service were excellent. If in St Andrews book a table here. You're very unlikely to regret it
This is hands down the best restaurant in St. Andrews. Friendly and attentive service and the food is sublime. We will definitely be back again and again.

Small family run restaurant offering excellently presented food at a great price. I've been going here for years and it is consistently good.
The restaurant is a little hidden family gem! The menu caters for meat and fish lovers as well as vegetarians. It is reasonably priced and the food tastes great.
Nothing labelled as vegan on menu but turns out the aubergine curry was vegan and a number of the vegetarian options could be made vegan. Very nice atmosphere and helpful staff.
Absolutely divine. We had our anniversary meal here and were treated like royalty. Food was excellent as was the service.
