Best cafe in Hertfordshire! Amazing food and drink, really friendly staff and beautiful courtyard :) We had the bagel and the granola for brunch! They also do delicious homemade doughnuts on weekend mornings but they sell out so quickly so be fast!
It was just amazing ... delicious food! Loved the steak !😋 The ambience was very very warm and welcoming. Jack and Scott are such lovely people. Loved it loved it!! Highly recommend it !
A lovely cosy atmosphere, despite the freezing weather conditions. Soft furnishings and blankets are very welcome! A welcome greeting and good service ensured we were well provided for. The hot chocolate tastes rich and creamy and I can highly recommend the soup - a delightful experience.
On Sunday we had the most delicious and succulent burgers we have ever had, served by the delightful, friendly and efficient Saffron and the owner - the charming Scott Martin, who took a much appreciated personal interest in ensuring that we were totally happy with our lunch, cake and drinks. We spent a lovely Friday evening here. The food was great, the staff were friendly and the atmosphere was really cosy. They had some live music playing, which was great and really added to the evening. Would highly recommend.
Beautiful courtyard setting, the feel is more roofgarden than cafe. Food is curated for grownups with local produce featuring on the menu. We booked on a Friday 'live music' evening and the vibe was vacation. I ordered the crudities - a varied choice of good quality ingredients, my dining partner or
From the ambience to food, drinks, music and service it’s like a beautiful European alfresco experience. Friday and Saturday live music and cocktails are amazing. During the day we are partial to stopping here for our cycle coffee and gluten free cake pitstop. Our favourite little local that is no l
An absolutely amazing place to have lunch. The food is amazing, as well as the lovely seating areas outside. Staff were very nice and welcoming straight upon arrival. Overall, would highly recommend!
Beautiful courtyard setting. I’ve been on a ‘live music’ friday night, the food was brilliant and so was the music. Really cosy with the fire pits lit. Staff were very friendly and attentive, couldn’t have been more helpful. Pricing was really reasonable for the quality of food and service, waitress
A great cafe with a good selectopn of tea, coffee, chocolate and other hot and cold beverages. A wide range of cakes suitable for afternnon tea or tiffin. Also light snacks etc as you would expect. The staff were friendly and efficient. The resturant has both inside and outside dining areas, a room
Lovely place a little bit from st Albans. Nice and cosy in the winter with fires to sit around outside. Good Sunday menu. Helpful staff.
It is a really nice place with good quality food (little overpriced, but worth it)
Beautiful setting. Lovely coffee. The food selection is good but the food prices are pretty high. E.g. £12 for a humous salad wrap.
Great spot for dinner and drinks with live music. Also delicious brunch on Sundays! Really attentive staff and fast service :)
