Hidden gem of a restaurant tucked behind the take away storefront. All food is freshly prepared and worth waiting for! Wonderful service and even better food. A must-stop visit for anyone looking for hole in the wall restaurants.

I visited Cha & Nasta, St. Alban's for the first time. This is halaal restaurant. It was an amazing experience having lunch here. This is run by family business and most of the staff is female. Food was homely and delicious as well. They have Indian/bangladeshi snacks, curries and main course. Rates of the items are cheap. They have dine-in and take away as well. We ordered Sev Puri, Papdi chat, Murugh Masala, Murugh kati roll and Pink tea. All the items were good. Tip 1 : While ordering, please do mention level of spiciness you need. Tip 2 : This restaurant is closed on Sundays.

Authentic, friendly, and delicious! We come here every time we are in St. Albans. If you've been to India or Bangladesh, ask them to make it a little more spicy for you.

We got the masala chips and it was really good. We were given some masala tea as well and it was delicious. The owner was really sweet and all the food is homemade. Highly recommended. Definitely going back with my friends again.

What a great little find. Cha Nasta is a family owned and run Bangladeshi restaurant and take away, all supervised by the friendly and helpful Bushrah. The food is from family recipes and is prepared with time and care and it is FULL of flavour but not burning heat. Bushrah can adjust it to suit if you ask. There is the option to take away, but we sat in the open courtyard (there is also a lovely, new summer house area ready for when the chills set in. Food - great, chai - wonderful, service - brilliant. Will definitely return.
