Solid place, solid service, not too crowded (from what I have experienced) but everything looks & feels used, its best days are definitely over.
Really good food and I was served fast and efficiently. Staff we're friendly and open. Really pleased.

I must say I don't like subway very much, but the one in st Albans is not bad. They are always very friendly. My son's had today steak sandwichthey loved it

A bit pricey but good grub & lots of choice of type of bread, sauces & many toppings.
