We ordered on 14th April, bill came to around £24 for the two of us, the food was delicious and there was enough left over for me to enjoy again tonight. We have used gourmet kitchen before and will be using them often if the food remains this good and the prices stay competitive. As with everywhere
Always get our Chinese from here. Very reliable and often get everything just right. Highly recommend the spicy squid it is usually cooked perfectly, not rubbery at all, and the ribs are always amazing.
Decent takeaway, online presence is teriable, menu online 3 years out of date and prices had gone up. To the owners Please just get a simple website with your menu on!!
It's maybe a little pricy (Brexit inflation I expect) but the food was tasty. Thai curry had a good amount of chicken. The s&s pork balls are probably some of the best I've had though, definitely get those. Nice crispy seaweed too.
At last we’ve found a good Chinese delivery in St Albans. Everything about our meal on Saturday was excellent. The duck was succulent with plenty of pancakes and other ingredients. Been coming here for 25 years, one of if not the best in St Albans.
We've been all over St Albans for Chinese takeaway but always come back to Gourmet Kitchen. It's out local and the best we've found. Recommend the Aubergine in Black Bean Sauce and the Beef Ho Fun (wide) Noodles. Fast friendly service.
1st time ordering food from Gourmet Kitchen have to say very friendly staff and the food was delicious. Very well presented will definitely be using again and would recommend.
Since the closure of Po Che in Marshalswick, there’s been quite big vacuum in the Chinese take-away St Albans, but since, someone recommended Gourmet Kitchen!! and I must say 10/10 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟, wife and kids loved, I’m defiantly going to use again, friendly service and quick delivery .. would recommend.
St Albans needs a decent Chinese restaurant but this is by far the best take away in the area! Fresh tasty food always..
I had a Beef Satay - Best one I have had in years - fresh root ginger used. Portions large prices very reasonable. This meal was better than anything I have had in China Town (London).
Authentic food, good value for money. The food tastes really clean. The staff are welcoming, helpful and very cooperative. All in all excellent 6/5
One of the best Chinese foods I’ve ever had. Delicious and quick! However, we can’t pay by card on smaller orders, otherwise would be a five star.
