This restaurant offered either an all you can eat option for a set price, or 50% off of any food item on the menu. We opted for the 50% off option and had a great meal that was actually a solid value. Highly recommended. I wasn't in the mood for sushi, so I had some appetizers and the oyako don. All were excellent. The only thing that needs improvement is for the staff to not assume you've been there before and for them to explain the ordering process (online) as soon as you are seated.

Lots of food. You pay £27 per person and order as much as you want. Not the best sushi, but ramen was good, I liked the seaweed salad, salmon. Place is clean and tidy. Well decorated. Friendly staff.

We got the Bottomless (all you can eat) menu and for the £25 asking price you really get value for your money, all the dishes were high quality and impressed my sushi-loving partner :) Only comment would be the unusual ordering system of scanning a QR code on your phone and selecting items from a webpage, took a minute to work it out but it meant we could order more items at any time without waiting for a server :)

We went for the "Bottomless" all-you-can-eat menu. The food was delicious and the sashimi was the highlight for me.

Best Sushimania we've been to (we have visited Golders Green & Reading branches). Food quality was better than the other branches we've been to like the tempura batter and the ramen noodle soup. The miso glazed aubergine could be better, the ones in Golders Green tasted nicer and had more sauce on top. They also put on their menu that they serve Urumaki with flying fish roe on the outside but when the order came it did not have the fish roe and the waitress said that they only serve the fish roe on alacarte, even though it was described on the eat all you can menu that it has fish roe. Service was good and on time, they use an app to order unlike in Reading which makes it faster. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The place itself is by far the best than other branches we've been to, clean and has a modern look with a lot of seats and good for party celebrations. Toilets are clean and spacious with a disabled and baby changing area at the ground floor entrance. They also have waiting table and seats near the entrance and bar. They also did not charge my 1 year old son unlike in Reading Sushimania. We will definitely come again here instead of our local sushimania in Reading which is way more worth it despite the distance.

Visited on many occasions the food is always great and the all you can eat deal is 100% worth it. The Sushi is amazing the best I've ever tried and 100% fresh. The only thing I struggle with the app as it doesn't work well in my phone for some reason and they usually give us an ipad.

It's big! My daughter took me for Father's Day, which is a Sunday, and we just missed the rush. We went for the 'bottomless buffet' option, great value at £24.50 per head (I think, not listed on their website). Food is good, I liked seeing so many tofu dishes.

Had a wonderful evening. Love the concept of ordering on you phone. Super quick turnaround from order to food on the table. The all you can eat deal is the best sushi deal I have seen in the UK. It even includes sashimi which is not usually seen on these kinds of buffet deals. They do limit you to 3 orders of sashimi but that is fair I think. Quality of the sushi was excellent and the staff were friendly and helpful. Will be back.

Overall this is a good Sushimania. Been to this branch twice. There's a mix of positives and negatives: The first time we went there they forgot to bring out the prawn temura, but the food was generally good. The second time the Beef skewers were less tender than the first time we got them, so overall the cooking varied a little. However, the dumplings are amazing, as is the oyster tempura and the Seabass nigiri. They bring the food out as it comes, so the hot food is VERY HOT which is lovely and our waiter today was super accommodating, and others jump in to help with anything whenever you need it. There's also a lot of variety and selection and the menu and app are clear to follow. The green tea was lovely too, with a really strong taste of matcha. One negative today was that the toilets were really unpleasant. It looked like some kids had thrown toilet paper and hand soap on the floor, but they smelt really bad. It's also a really dark walk to the toilets (not sure the lights along the corridor were on) so not accessible for the elderly or those with poor eyesight. Overall though the food is good and the atmosphere is pleasant. The staff are friendly and super helpful, so we will be back.

Closer to 3.5 than a 4. Sushi is decent and fresh, but I had better. £27 for the ‘eat as much as you can’ is pushing the limit of value. Service is not the best. The ‘eat as much as you like’ option means that your orders are mixed up and you may wait a while. Vegetable spring rolls are rubbish, avoid.

A good addition to the list of restaurants around St Albans. I’ve been there twice and both times I‘ve chosen the all you can eat menu. The food you get back from that menu is quite good, especially if you know already what to order (I’ve enjoyed it more the second time I went there). Finally, the service is good and both waiters and owners are quite polite.

If I was just rating the food it would be a 4.5, if I was waiting the price it would be a 5.5/5! This restaurant was 50% off on all dishes and they were amazing! We had a mixture of everything (a literal table full) for £20 each! Only thing that drops it down was the service was a little awkward and not very warming - however could have been a bad day! Can’t wait to return :)

Have been going to Sushimania since day 1 of opening and will not go anywhere else locally for sushi. I’ve even moved away and will still travel 40 minutes to book a table. The food is always great and the staff are always so kind and friendly. Would 100% recommend for both new and ongoing sushi enthusiasts 😍 amazing restaurant to try new things but would definitely recommend adding some new dishes to the menu

Nice sushi in town. Customer service is really quick, nevertheless, none of them will look at your eyes, I don’t know why. The length of the menu is a little bit overwhelming. My only complaint will be that they assume that you have a smartphone and enough Internet to open the online menu and make your order directly online. I was wondering what they will do with elderly customers who don’t have access to technology.
