The food, the service and ambience was great at the cafe. From the moment we booked the place the service provided was brilliant. We phoned for what we thought was a strange request however they made everything possible. We requested a large halal charcuterie board which is not on their standard men
So happy Saffron is now the owner of the Cafe, lovely atmosphere and the service is always helpful and with a smile. Wishing you every happiness for a successful future. Hope to return soon .
Lovely brunch on a sunny day sitting outside in the courtyard. There is some seating inside. Avocado and whipped feta was delicious. Would have liked scrabbled egg on the menu. And would have been even better if they did a childrens menu like simple ham and cheese toastie or kids scrambled eggs.
Lovely setting, both in and outdoors at Saffron’s Cafe. Great produce and menu with friendly efficient staff.
Fabulous service and even better food. Staff are very attentive and Saffron was more than happy to cater to dietary requirements. Decor is cosy and perfect for the rainy day - Highly recommend!
Cool posh feeling to this place. Not too far out of St Albans. On a quiet contrary. Good decor. Peaceful ambience.
Good coffee and cake. On the day I went there card machine wasn't working so it was cash only. Also it took quite a long time to get served, as it wasn't clear whether you're meant to wait at the table for someone to come and take your order, or if you're meant to go to the counter. In the end someo
Lovely setting, very attentive service with a smile and most of all delicious! This is my second visit and both times the food has been absolutely outstanding. Simple yet delicious, will definitely go back!
The Saddlery has recently come under new management and I can say that my recent trip found the menu extended and I have no complaints whatsoever with the service and quality of food. If you've had a bad experience in the past I would recommend you give it another go.
Went for a light lunch. Was a nice experience. Nice outdoor space.
I love the place, it's away from crowd, nice and clean. Not much choice in the menu but fresh and home made looking cakes (far too sweet but tasty). Car park is just few steps away with plenty space.
Great food, very accommodating to gluten free and lovely atmosphere. Saffron was very attentive!
This is a regular haunt! Today I had a delicious gluten-free "pizza" with parma ham and figs and my husband had smashed avocado on toast. It was a lovely relaxing lunch outdoors - with our dog. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
Fantastic breakfast venue. Went twice in the same weekend.
