We arrived with little notice needing a table for 9 and got a warm welcome. The food was good and I was easily able to get vegetarian food from the menu. We were very pleased and will go again.

Fresh, tasty & delivered promptly. Chicken tandoor was especially good as was the saag bhagi and peshawari naan. Definitely be ordering again soon. They even called an hour later to check that we were happy with everything, a nice touch. Thanks!

Wide choice. Good value. Nothing too spicy. Cooked to order. Heavy on the sauce and onions. Friendly service and they look after you.

Had our first meal (at home) from Taste of Nawab St Albans after reading a number of very good reviews. I must say that the food was very tasty and we will be ordering again. In fairness I think I should mention a couple of things that didn't quite hit the mark. We first tried to order via the on line function on their web page and this took us to deliveroo. We found that our order would have been over £10 more expensive (including a delivery charge even though they say free delivery!) for the same order if we had continued with deliveroo, so we called the restaurant directly and this went fine (I'm not a deliveroo expert so this may be the norm of course). Another slight problem was that we called early (17.50) as I have read that the restaurant does get busy and orders can take a while to be delivered and we wanted to have dinner at 19.00 /19.30 or so. I was told it would take about 45-50 mins to be delivered. Anyway it arrived only 30 mins after I called ie 16.20 which usually wouldn't be a problem, but being only 15min into my 0-5k run presented me with a bit of a dilemma! The food was good (apart from the vegetable samosas not being vegetable and being meat! and the naan bread being tough!) To round off, I will be ordering again and the restaurant did call later in the evening to ask if everything was ok, which it was - I'm getting free vegetable samosa next time :)

We have had a few takeaways from here and the food has been excellent. Decided to try the restaurant and were not disappointed. The restaurant is comfortable and pleasantly decorated. Quite small compared to some other restaurants in st albans but worth a visit The staff were efficient and attentive. But top marks go to the food which was the tastiest indian meal we have had in a very long time. We had chicken tikka bhuna which was full of flavour and a good amount of chicken and then from chefs recommendations the nawabi special which was slightly unusual but one we would definitely have again. The accompaniments were also of a high quality- fluffy nan bread and rice.

A true, authentic Indian dining experience. From the moment we walked through the door right the way through to when we left the restaurant, the service was tremendous. The waiters made us feel comfortable and gave us great advice on what to order based on our preferences. The food came out presented in a beautiful ways s the taste of the food was sensational. I seriously recommend this restaurant to anyone searching for a true, Indian restaurant experience. Thank you to the Team at Taste of Nawab, it was a pleasure.

Superb meal! Collected my order on Saturday night and there was a queue of people outside. Easy to see why. Great meal and fantastic service from the guy coordinating front of house, who referred to everyone by name and kept us all updated on our order timings. Also had a follow-up call to check on the meal. Would 100% recommend and will be back soon!

Our favourite Indian takeaway in St Albans. Have ordered from here multiple times and food has always been perfect. Eaten in once and interior is very simple and small but service was very good.

Amazing! Got a takeaway from here a couple of weeks ago, not only was the food delicious the service was first rate. Was really looked after, getting a phone call 5 mins before our order was ready to collect and then being greeted by such a warm welcome when I went to collect. I really appreciate a good curry when I find one and will definitely be returning here. Thank you!

Food was great, probably one of the best curry places in St Alban's. Service was unhurried and comfortable. The only thing I'd improve would be the takeaway drivers who walk through the restaurant without wearing face coverings. If it wasn't for that I would have rated 5 stars.

As it was our first time, we choose quite a range of main and vegetable dishes. Overall, it was a good and authentic Indian meal and we will definitely be ordering again. By the way, delivery was bang on time and price wise, excellent value

Had a lovely meal here last week with a friend. I'm vegan and the staff were very good in suggesting which dishes could be vegan-ised! Great food at a reasonable price, I will definitely eat here again.

With apologies to all the other Indian restaurants in the area, this is the best Indian in St. Albans; probably the world. I've tried four different mains so far (all take aways) and they've all been flawless. At other places I've tried, every main has an underlying taste, like they're made with the same base sauce. At ToN each dish tastes truly unique, which makes choosing quite difficult... Give them a try; you won't be disappointed.
