The Chicken Shop to me is the best takeaway in St Albans. It ticks all the boxes for me like flavour, spice, portion and the customer service is great. That is why I recommend going to the Chicken Shop and try it for yourself.

The homemade satay sauce is probably the best I've ever had! Chicken wings are good and the chips are cooked to perfection. Highly recommend this place
Friendly staff, speedy service and great food (although I've only tried their Chinese dishes). They're not greasy, are sizeable portions for a price that won't break the bank - and of course it tastes great.
What really catches my eyes though about this place however is their homemade "shrimp-tasting" chilli oil that's actually vegetarian (when I asked about it), and it's honestly the best chilli oil I've ever had. It is quite spicy, personally for me, but the taste kept making me want more & more. Undeniably, I ended up going here two days in a row to savour the taste which goes well with chow mein and rice.
I would recommend this place to anyone in St Alban's, and urge you to try their chilli oil (though if you don't like fishy stuff, then that'll be a no for you).
A good food place that offers grilled/fried chicken products as well as Chinese! The food was served quickly and it was very tasty. The place was quiet when I entered and got very busy with customers coming in and out, meaning the place is very popular in the local area. Friendly service with a smile and I’ll definitely be back. Highly recommend

Absolute gem of place, surprisingly hidden away on a busy road. Delicious food that is great value and consistent every time. Easily the best chicken shop in St Albans by a mile.
Excellent food everytime I've been here. The place is immaculately clean, the staff very friendly. And the chicken ciabatta is out of this world.
Had great experience in communication, speed of service and friendliness. Freshly made nice and hot food as always . Quality and quantity both are brilliant. Definitely recommend and visit this place again.

Without a doubts the beat quality chicken in St. Albans. They have load of options including health salads, wraps and curries. But do the best wings!!
