The Rolling Stones tribute band on Saturday 19th November were excellent! I'm never disappointed with the quality of music performed at The Horn. The only thing I would say is there is a lack of air in the room. It's way too hot and people are packed in. Thankfully I found a breathing space at the front of the stage otherwise it can be unpleasant to stand in a hot cramped space. Saying that Thameslink trains are far worse at rush hour!
The bar staff were prompt and friendly. I recommend this music venue for a good night out. :-)
The food here is amazing. So pleased with your selection of vegetarian food. It's all delicious. P.s. please keep the Smashing Pumpkins Burger! It's too good to be just a Halloween special. Best burger I've ever had.
A proper pub! With proper music and good food. Of course went there for the music and the "gig" room at the back is great for it
Love this place the cover bands are great seen Straighten Out last night and Bootleg Blondie both fantastic friendly staff great atmosphere

Most lit pub in St Albans, it always has great bands and it's right next to an off-licence if you can't afford the alcohol :^)
Brilliant place for bands and real ales :) Had a great night.
Fantastic venue right near the mainline station. Went to see Popscene a local Indie covers band. Great crowd and helpful staff = Great night out
Went for live music, great little venue. Didn't eat here
Firstly, great music venue. I've seen some crackin bands here.
Second THE KITCHENS OPEN AGAIN! The food is epic and the new menu is so good. Popped in for lunch and had the Thai pork belly burger from this week's specials menu. Juicy and flavour was spot on.
Highly recommend you check it out
Great grass roots venue and seen many a band here. Midweek slots need better promotion and earlier stage times though. Been a staple of local music scene for a very long time.
Watched my Son and his band play here. No parking but nice pub.
The Horn in St Albans is a great place, specifically for live music. No food on a Sunday but there's an open mic night on that day. It's been there a long time, and I first played music there in 1996. A great place to eat, drink and play pool. Friendly and helpful staff and centrally located in St Albans. A five minute walk from the the train station. Easy access to the park and Abbey.
For the last two years, I have held a Concert For Ukraine at The Horn to raise money for my friends charity, who are on the front line providing provisions but basically hot meals and water.
Luke who manages The Horn is a gentleman and top man.
Proper pub with attached intimate live music venue. Staff and locals are very friendly. A great place to watch a band.
Great live music venue, next to St Albans City rail station - so only 20 minutes out of St Pancras. There is a standalone building (The Barn) for these mainly cover bands - acoustics are good and it’s generally not too packed.
The pub itself is music themed - a semi-divided single room. Not a great beer selection but decent. Food is burger-based but OK. Would recommend eating at Ayos (close by) if going to see a band.
Went here when there were bands playing amazing atmosphere, staff were attentive and it was a great night.
Lovely bar and really great venue for the tight high energy gigs that make live music what it is. Had a great time seeing some bands with excellent sound and fun atmosphere.
Haven’t been to a venue this place hosts, yet it is great as a pub. Has small outside seating area, a slightly pricey yet very tasty beers. Especially Guinness is top notch here!
