Good food and nice place but nothing too special. Lot's of seating place indoors and out. Pretty fast service too so it's not bad place to try out.

This is my after work hang out place. The building is really well maintained and lots of different seatings available. The staff are very friendly and remember the regulars very well! Food the usual JDW standard and variety of gust ales available. Prices when compared to London is just nothing! Surely recommend this place!

I like this place. Beer prices are still quite reasonable compared to some pubs. I rate the pizzas highly, too. Then some friends recommended the chicken katsu curry. It turned out to be the best tasting katsu curry I have had anywhere.

I popped in on the off chance, it is a stunning building inside. The toilets were very clean. I did not eat but the food looked nice. Staff very helpful. One of the best "spoons " I have been in.

A great weatherspoons, really lovely building and cheap drinks. They've got an offer on at the moment where Guinness is £2.99 during the rugby world cup. Not to be missed!

Great place for meal. Will come again soon. The place is in the centre of St Albans city. Food quality is not bad. Price of the meal is not expensive, affordable. Can order by the mobile phone app, just scan the at code, the menu pops out then choose the food to order. 20 up selection of beers, even there are non alcohol beers are available. About parking space, there is a carpark 2 minutes away, it’s ticket car park. Remember this, Never ever park your car in front of the restaurant as the ticket man is always around, unless you want to get a ticket after the meal…..

A huge interior with beautiful ceilings. I was there on a Friday and the place gets slammed inside and out as the day goes on. Well kept beer as seems to be the way at Weatherspoon’s pubs. The food was fine I had a large piece of fish with chips, very reasonable price. Large outdoor seating area which catches the sun in the afternoon.

We went to St Albans on day trip during market day and someone recommended the Watered Barn. As it's Wetherspoon pub it's reasonably priced with good service. Building is a lovely old barn. It's hidden away at the end of the main road. and we wouldn't have known it was there if someone hadn't told us.

Food was very nice.... apart from the three pieces of ham on my vegetarian pizza! This was explained as cross contamination from the kitchen (which really shouldn't happen) and I was given a replacement quickly and without fuss. This is the only reason for the less than five star rating. Everything else was fine - lovely helpful staff and quick service.

Can't beat this place for consistency, value for money and buzz. Always lovely and predictable. Extensive menu.

Whilst staying in St Albans for a few days we had breakfast here everyday and I highly recommend. The place is family friendly, clean and the food is really food. Cannot beat the value. Also had lunch and food was great

Stopped in (from work) for lunch. Lunchtime deal got a premium burger and soft drink for under £10. It was quite busy but food came out quickly and surprisingly better than expected. Normal pub fare, burgers etc but reasonably priced as you would expect from Spoons.

Friendly bar staff who knew how to pour a good pint of Guiness. The food came quickly and was delicious and hot. The burgers were loaded with bacon, cheese and pickles as promised and the onion rings were perfect, hot, crispy outside and juicy inside...loads of chips! The pub itself is lovely with a Hogwarts feel due to dark wall panelling, large hanging medieval banqueting style lighting and large leaded window. There are massive fireplaces, dark nooks and lovely outside areas with tons of seating. At £22 for a large meal including a pint each the value is unbeatable. I am glad we found the pub and really enjoyed it. It topped off a lovely day in St Albans...we will definiitely be visiting again.

Extremely pleaeent ambience with the high cieling and wooden beams. The food was unusably tasty hot and fast to the table. My arms did not stick to the tables here and the whole place look impeccably clean and staffed with adults. Will most definitely be coming back here soon.
