White Lion - St. Albans - Photo album

I've been coming to this pub for more than 10 years and have never been disappointed. I've seen it change hands multiple times and even then the quality of service, the food and drinks hadn't dropped in it's standards. Having mostly come for drinks with mates, I can confidently say this is a great
The food here was delicious! All four of us enjoyed our selections; I wish we could have returned for another visit, but our time in England was limited. The young lady behind the bar was very nice and patient with us first timers to a pub.
Great little pub! The inside area is really cute, very trendy, but old school decor. Really good selection of draft beers. The stand out part of this pub is the outside area. Under a huge canvas cover, it's a beautifully lit area, lovely but away from the road.
Awesome food and a great beer garden. They have a selection of their own ales and the service was fairly good. Everyone I was with really enjoyed their meal, so definitely the spot for good pub grub in St Albans.
The White Lion were really helpful when I recently had a wake to organise. Nothing was too much trouble and they accommodated our last minute changes and requests with no issues. Great garden area, food was lovely and staff brilliant. Will def be back
Awesome local pub serving a great range of beers and delicious food. Try the Dirty Fries!
Stopped for a quick drink on a Monday evening and sat in the garden. Really great garden space, which I suspect unless you know the pub, you wouldn't expect. Cosy nooks & crannies inside too.
First time in since the new landlords were installed a few months ago and have to say a great first impression. Service was quick (on a busy Friday night too), staff were cheerful and helpful and the food (ranging from a very nice piece of fish to a jackfruit burger to a chicken burger) was all well
It appears this pub may have changed hands again. Was a Big Smoke pub, serving mostly their our beers. But recently they've changed their offering to more usual brands. Cosy pub with a recently refurbished garden area. Last time we ate there we had a lovely meal, very generous portions.
Lovely local pub.... Great food. Attentive and helpful staff. Good variety of ales. Very busy on a Saturday evening
