We went for lunch and had some excellent food in a cosy atmosphere.
Everything we ordered was prepared well.
The staff were lovely, but unfortunately service was slow and we skipped dessert in the end after waiting 20 minutes.
We would return next time we're in the area.
Lovely food, would highly recommend and will visit again. However, to make this place more inviting, I would recommend the restaurant cleaning up the stairs and sorting the dead flowers because this is not a true representation of how lovely the restaurant is. A must visit in St Albans for wonderful
First time going to the loft and what a little gem off a place it was! The service was friendly, the food was amazing and the atmosphere was relaxing. Would recommend a visit! Prices are slightly high which may put some people off but the food was well executed and tasted delicious.
Beautiful oak-beamed, single room loft space at the back of a short alley off George Street, so a little tucked away. Went for Sunday lunch on the late May Bank Holiday and had a lovely meal. I had the burrata followed by roast beef; both generous portion sizes, quality ingredients and beautifully
We booked The Loft for a big family lunch to welcome our new baby boy to the extended family. The team were very supportive and flexible in helping us make all of the arrangements - very budget friendly and great quality too. Would highly recommend for a large group booking!

Visited Loft with my wife yesterday evening and will definitely return. The food was excellent and the staff were very courteous and attentive. We had a complimentary glass of Champagne for our wedding anniversary which was a complete surprise and added that personal touch.
Went christmas Eve. Food was amazing, and so was the service, but then we were the only ones in the restaurant. The atmosphere suffered as it was sooo quiet....bit too quiet. I would still recommend it, and I would return.
