The Waffle House - St. Albans - Photo album

If I could give them more than 5 stars I would. The death by chocolate waffle was the best dessert I have ever had! I was worried it may be too sickly or overwhelming but the balance between the chocolate sauce, mousse, flakes and brownies was balanced beautifully! Absolutely phenomenal! We also had
We have been to the waffle House twice now as a large group for lunch. The wait for a table is fairly long but is definitely worth it as the food is really good. I would definitely recommend a savoury waffle per person and maybe a sweet one to share 😋 Service was good and they dealt with our large o
Nice environment, comfort seating also offer outdoor seating as well. We ordered savoury waffle for brunch. The portion is good but if you don’t order double the waffle there’s only one pc cut into 2 halves. The texture was unexpected that light and airy, and not crispy outside too, honestly not wh
Just a day trip to St. Albans and wasn’t sure what to do, so I decided to explore this waffle house. There is a car park 🅿️ if you are driving. Atmosphere is chill but quite lot of people on the weekend. The service was ok, wasn’t too bad and waffle was ok, no such as “surprise feeling”. Overall g
We visited the waffle house in 2003 and always planned to return. So after 20 years we weren't disappointed. We were promptly served and service was great. Food was excellent. Make sure you ask to see the old water wheel.
Throughly enjoyed this place. Food was delicious and service and atmosphere was also great. Tried many different waffles and each one was delicious. So many options too. Every waffle was served fresh, all ingredients tasted fresh. Very impressed. Will definitely be returning.
Great place really enjoyed it. Some parts need decorating but still nice food
The food is of great quality and variety. There's always something new to try on their Specials Board. I love the waffle house. Service is always great!
Well deserved 5 stars! Delicious food, great service, wonderful overall ambiance including the music, scenic views and the convenient parking. The vanilla latte and cappuccino also hit the spot.
Good waffles, should've got sweet not savoury in hindsight. Too muxh sriracha mayo swirls, shoulve asked for ut on the side, didnt compliment the waffle. Savoury for me didn't quite work on the taste buds. Good drinks, friendly staff, dog friendly and lovely outdoor patio seating.
We visited on a sunny day during the Easter break. It was busy but we only waited for about 20 minutes to be seated so the wait was not too bad! We ordered pulled pork and fried chicken waffles. Both waffles were very nice and super filling too! The service was very quick and attentive. Overall a
Absolutely blown away by the savoury breakfast crepe with runny poached eggs. The pecan waffles were also amazing!
Honestly an incredible place for food, went for breakfast with my wife, very quick service and the attention to detail was great on the allergy’s, the food come out and looked amazing and tasted great! Chefs done a great job! Tasted good and presented well! Will be back soon!
Great sweet and savoury dishes, always really busy and hard to get a table. However it’s definitely worth the wait, sweet dish definitely recommend the banoffee, and savoury I loved the mushroom, ham and cheese waffle. Staff are very friendly, and there is a large parking area.
Had some nice waffles here. Great location next to the park. Don't forget to look at the days specials as no one seems to prompt you unless you happen to see it on the board. Recommend it should be moved to near where people are queuing so they can see it. Also did not see any menu before we went
For a restaurant serving waffles it is so much better! I don't have too much of a sweet tooth so I was thrilled to see they had tones of savory options available and the eggs royale were amazing! I would highly recommend the waffle House and don't get put off if you don't have a sweet tooth!
This place is a 'must'. I'm so glad we stopped there on our way home for a delicious late breakfast. The waffles were light and crispy and the toppings were amazing. The waffles were also beautifully presented. We had the bacon waffles, blueberry and bacon, banoffee waffle, cappuccino and their lemon
Loved this rustic little waffle house! They cater for gluten and dairy free which is absolutely brilliant! I had the veggie breakfast but without cheese and replaced with avacado and the waffle are so light and fluffy! Portions are good and I even ended up getting the dutch apple as a dessert with v
