Cafe Rouge - St. Albans - Photo album

So sad to see this place change hands - we happened to be their very last customers on a very emotional final shift...photos attached of some of the lovely staff just before they shut their doors for the last time. Thankyou to them all, but especially to Mario and Caroline, who were always so friend
Went for a meal out with family curtesy of Tesco Clubcard vouchers, no problem using them. Very lovely waiter Mario made sure we had everything we needed. Food very nice and enjoyed by us all.
Visited Café Rouge in St Albans for the first time and it was a good experience. Used a Groupon discount code with a special menu and the staff were helpful. Friendly customer service and waitress. The place was near empty but it was a homely and peaceful environment to sit in. The food quality was
Awesome Art Deco location. Very bright and sunny due to the glass panel roof. Afternoon Tea for two was spot on and was enough to carry you through the rest of the day. Staff were attentive and polite and facilities spotless. Highly recommend both the location and the afternoon tea.
Food was excellent, very tasty and well presented. They had a good selection of drinks as well. The decor of the place is really cool and everything was clean. The service was quick. It is not the cheapest place to eat; however the service and quality was worth it. The only annoying thing is parking
We had a great time and the food was fantastic. Staff were lovley and friendly as well.
Came here for afternoon tea with a buy a gift voucher. The interior is really cool Art Deco. Food was surprisingly good and staff were friendly - will definitely return.

Lovely food and friendly service on the whole. This branch is set in a lovely period building complete with a glass roof. Service was a little slow to begin with, but the foid was excellent.
Food was mostly good, loved the art deco style, camembert cheese and baguette were excellent. The burger’s taste was okay though a bit plain. But it was good overall
Lovely atmosphere in a spacious dining room, converted from a 19th / 20th century greenhouse. Good food and great service at a reasonable price. Staff were very helpful about my daughter's allergy.
Had dinner here and also breakfast.... lovely old building, like sitting in a conservatory...... Food well cooked and tasty, staff helpful, and very friendly, not one French!! no waiting, excellent service.
Superb Art Deco setting in Sam Ryders original seed hall the home of the Ryder cup! Magnificent mirrored bar, vaulted glazed ceiling and period lighting worth a visit for the architecture alone. Good value their beef Borguignon is always delicious. The moule were disappointing on my last visit. Sinc
Fantastic friendly service Mario the waiter provided excellent service The food was cooked to perfection and slight adjustments to my order were easily accommodated with no question Absolutely shocked and deeply saddened to hear that Cafe Rouge St Albans will be closing its doors for the final time
We had such fun here a few weeks ago on burger night (Weds). We went with my son and the waiter was so friendly and welcoming. We had starters (calamari) and the signature burger, all of which was delivered hot and was very tasty. My son still talks about what a fun night it was. Such a good deal at
Great quality of ingredients and nice atmosphere. Beautiful building.
