Lovely friendly staff, delicious food, and quirky interiors. Can’t wait for my next trip!
I took my family to Dylan’s following some fab reviews I’ve seen online, and rave reviews I’d heard from friends and colleagues. Upon arriving, I’ll be honest, my expectations were high… but let me tell you, Dylan’s *absolutely* lived up to them all!
We went for lunch and decided to opt for the lunch menu as we loved what was on offer there — and it’s fantastic value! I opted for the salt cod and salmon fishcake for my starter, and the corn-fed chicken breast with Caesar salad dressing for main, and had a side of ham and Parmesan croquettes (one of the specials of the day). Each dish was superb.
I look forward to coming back to taste the main menu and sample some of the many craft beers on offer.
Lovely atmosphere, friendly staff n service is great. On top of that love the craft beer choices, wine & food all extra cool. Going to become my fav place in St Albans for drinks.
Quaint pub and restaurant with window seats, bar seats, a regular table in the bar area and a separate dining area. Hops hang overhead.
I shared a beer with Mummy Debra sitting on the bar whilst Mummy sat in a tall barstool, overlooked by a deceased bodiless ram. Or perhaps his body was in the other side of the wall!
It was a quiet midweek afternoon after the lunch rush and before dinner rush. Part of the time we were the only customers.
Despite this we were only interacted with by the young woman bar tender when Mummy initiated interaction. Then she was friendly.
