I enjoyed every starter we had they all were amazing very tasty. I like my wine to taste a bit sweet and they recommended one which was just to my taste and the cocktail they recommended was absolutely lovely. For my mains i wanted to have something different so the Gentleman recommended a fish dish called Dover Sole which i never tried before and i loved it, when i do go there again i will have Dover Sole as I really enjoyed it. The atmosphere is lovely the hospitality very friendly and kind all waiters had a smiley face, I was very pleased I definitely recommend this restaurant.

First time to this restaurant with my daughter her friend and her mum. The place was packed with customers but we were still waited on with detail and attention. Our waiter suggested the starters and a lovely cocktail. The food was very good and the gin cocktail was amazing. The mains i had was chicken sish was very generous portion. Would highly reccomend this venue i definitely will be returning.

Had another fab meal last night with my friend who hadn’t been before. I am gradually working my way through the menu, which doesn’t disappoint. The staff always remember you. Fab atmosphere great food , large portions and reasonably priced. I just love it. Will I go back? Yes of course ! I always do.

This place is incredible!! The food is authentic and utterly delicious. The service is equally good, the staff are charming and cannot do enough to welcome you (esp. Mete our waiter). It took me right back to my favourite restaurant in Kalkan, Turkey. Cannot wait to go back again!

I can honestly say this was awsome food 😋
- Pan seared Scollops with Aubergine Puree
- Mixed Grill, Chicken and Lamb Shish, Lamb Chop, Adana, and Chicken Wings
- Avocado, Tomato, and Red Onion Salad
The scollops were cooked well, the sauce was cold, which I was not expecting that but the taste and contrasts were really good.
Mixed Grill was a tasty good potion with quality meats, but I would have liked more than one lamb chop. Meat was marinated well and super juicy with individual tastes.
Salad was simple and tasty with the addition of Tahini. It's a really good touch. Simple is always the best way 😌
Highly recommended this place, wide range of options including vegetarian options. The service was great. The bloke was on his own, but he didn't miss a beat.

Very calm and serenely located Turkish and Mediterranean restaurant, the staff were courteous and accommodating, beautiful ambience, and the most important bit, affordable and tasty meals. I visited on a week day evening, and didn’t need a reservation so there were a lot of unoccupied seats, and few patrons present. It’s a strictly halal restaurant so if you have reservations you should be assured you’re covered. I’ll definitely be visiting again sometimes soon. (Shoutout to the man from Morocco who served us and told us the best times of the year to visit Morocco and spend as little as possible, you’re the MVP)
Finally had a chance to get here and was very pleased. The starters were delicious and meat was cooked great( lamb chops and chicken). Would definitely come back to try other dishes. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We didn’t book ( Saturday night), but they found a table for us.
Lovely Turkish place hidden away in St Albans - the decor here was stunning green and the staff were attentive. The food was second to none. Enjoyed my experience here. Will be back!
Food is delicious! We had halloumi cheese and filo pastry filled with spinach and feta as starters. Then lamb shish kebab and a speciality with eggplant and meat. Service is very good and waiters are really warm and nice
Food was absolutely amazing, it was our first visit and we had the set menu, which was very cheap for the quality of food we got. Definitely would go again, probably now my favourite restaurant in St Albans! Baklava for dessert in particular was phenomenal.

Super Turkish restaurant tucked away on Adelaide Street in St Albans. Lovely ambience, crisp white tablecloths and napkins, Great service. Very attentive and courteous.
We had the vegetarian platter for mains which was an excellent choice ( moussaka, baba ganoush, halloumi, falafel etc ) and salmon with roast vegetables. Both were good. The complementary pitta bread was freshly made served with a chilli and a garlic yogurt dip. Salad was fresh and crisp. This place is popular so do book a table.

Quite ashamed that never been to this tucked away restaurant, which the owner tells me has been open for many years. It describes itself as Turkish, but there are lots of other Mediterranean influences. The menu is understated and not too overwhelming with choice, but what we ordered was delicious. We had mushrooms in white wine sauce for starter and I had gnocchi in tomato sauce for main. My friend had a meat kebab. The portion sizes were perfect and the flavours amazing. I also had a lychee cocktail. It was too sweet for me, but my friend who has better taste buds than me said it was nice. The waiting staff were very attentive, including the manager. My only request would be to have more vegetarian options. I also would like to know if eg red peppers could be left out of items but I forgot to ask; they seemed to be in lots of the dishes. Otherwise, really very impressed, and hope to be able to make their 6th anniversary celebration.

Our family enjoyed a marvelous experience with these warm, professional and courteous gentlemen. My 3 yr old cousin got sick due to an allergy. The staff cleaned up promptly and plated a new meal for the affected nephews nearby. The food is hot, plentiful and scrumptious. The ambience warm. Impeccable service. No one left dissatisfied.
Delicious hot meze starter then chicken shish, lamb and salad for main. Spent £65 ish with only water and one lemonade.
My partner said the lamb was cooked to perfection and gave it a 8/10. Without gravy which he isn't a fan of generally he would have given it a 10/10 and he's not easily pleased. 👍🏻
Tasty food (fresh veg cooked perfectly) good service - friendly staff. Fair price. They have also taken good social distancing measures with tables set far apart with (professional) screen dividers, staff wearing gloves, downloadable menu etc
