Not doing food currently but a lovely welcoming locals pub. Pool table and darts board with a great atmosphere.
Watched the rugby on Saturday, some reluctance to put TV on in the bar to watch the rugby which was strange! Good food, beer and staff though.
Lovely friendly place. Shame the customer footfall is low, as they no longer serve food
Excellent Sunday lunch carvery at an equally excellent price. Lovely family run business and friendly staff. Lovely to see locals, visitors, children of all ages and dogs are welcome in the Bar area. Dining tables in bar area too as well as restaurant areas. Will definitely be back for Sunday Lu
In our opinion the best carvery in Pembrokeshire. Food is excellent, establishment clean and well cared for. Staff friendly and helpful. Booking is strongly advised due to ever-increasing popularity. Give yourself a real treat, it's delicious.
Wonderful carvery, all 14 adults very impressed with every item on offer. Meats tasty, tender and generous helpings, veg great variety. No scraps left, clean plates all round including children's plates. Best recommendation you can have
Jefferey M Nice pub Nice friendly atmosphere, great value on drinks and a great landlord. Definitely recommend if you're looking for a cheap drink with friendly locals, both myself and my family had a lovely time
A small local, very friendly pub and landlord to frequent for darts, meet folk and have a chat and a great place to watch the rugby. Darren does a mean GF Cawl and GF curry for folk like me. Really lucky to have it on our doorstep.
Friends and I visited twice over a couple of days. Lovely staff, great home made food, sourced from local producers. It really made such a difference! There's a lovely family feel to the place and you are made to feel welcome. Our nearby bnb (the lovely Torbant farmhouse) was only 5 minutes walk awa
What an amazing gem of a pub/restaurant the Square and Compass Croesgoch Pembrokeshire is. It was my first visit last Sunday, I was invited to Sunday lunch to celebrate my cousin's 70th birthday. Both my cousin and her husband visit the Square and Compass regularly always singing it's praises. I saw
Been a few times now and always a fantastic carvery. Very friendly staff and a good selection of beers. Can't wait for the next visit.
The Sunday carvery is very popular. All veg and meat is done to perfection. Relatives from somerset been down lately and can't wait to come back, and he's travelled the world. Fabulous. Not to be missed.
Very good carvery, & selection of desserts. Can recommend Square & Compass. The gent carving the meat could do with being a bit more friendly, but heyho you can't have it all !!!
This is an absolutely wonderful little pub. The drinks and food are very good. Also, the staff are very friendly and happy to serve you. I highly recommend stopping here if you are in the area.

Watched the 1st Lions test there yesterday. I didn't have any food just drinks and good to see a pub serving something different. I had Butcombe Gold. Looked like limited operations during COVID restrictions but hopefully will be back to normal in a fortnight or so.
Visited the square and compass today with my family who are living in Castlemorris. I have just spent a weekend there and the icing on the cake was Sunday carvery at square and compass. It was delicious and I was pleased with my vegetarian option of sweet potato, chickpea morrocan tagine pie. The veg
