Very tasty Sunday roast. Tender beef cooked to perfection and great accompaniments. Only minor recommendation would be to serve on hot plates and offer custard with apple pie. We look forward to returning again soon.

It's an often used cliche but the Squirrels Drey truly is a hidden gem. We'd booked a table for 2, arrived at the venue to find a spacious carpark adjacent to a lovely little garden. Upon entry to the restaurant every thing just seemed perfect, we had a friendly greeting from Aaron and were then invited to sit at our chosen table.
From then on we were treated to a wonderful experience, whilst studying the menu we were given some lovely homemade bread and olives. Our starters, the main meal and the shared desert were absolutely perfect, it was a shared desert as by this stage we were pretty satisfied and full!
The service was very attentive, not overpowering and certainly not rushed, in fact many other venues should take note.
All in all it was an amazing experience, everything was fantastic, the decor, the welcome, the service, and most importantly the food. Can't wait fir our next visit! A big thank you to the Squirrels Drey.
Absolutely brilliant village pub. We sat in the beautiful garden and had Sunday lunch. Food was excellent quality (my partridge starter and roast sirloin of beef main were delicious). We then tried each of their homemade ice cream flavours for dessert, our Italian friend loved every single one of them and you can't argue with an Italian when judging ice cream. Service warm and friendly, prices very reasonable and a great selection of slightly unusual beers. Thank you!
My daughter and son in law invited her sister and I here for my birthday today. What a beautiful pub and garden, fantastic service by incredible staff, kind, funny, courteous and patient. The food was amazing, truly beautiful, perfect. Made my birthday very special. I travelled from Wells next the sea to have lunch here and it was worth the drive as it was an absolutely fantastic lunch in a beautiful place. Thank you 🙏

Beautiful little village pub, with a wonderful atmosphere. Large fire & comfortable chairs whilst waiting to be seated to the restaurant to eat. Visited last night, I can honestly say I’ve not had food this good in a time. The chef is absolutely exquisite in delivering beautiful pleasing food, not only to the eye but the taste buds also. Both the bar staff and the waitress listened to what we asked for and delivered and were very welcoming and friendly. Well done to all on this new opening of the pub. My boyfriend and I cannot wait to visit again.
