Lovely country pub. Extensive menu to choose from, big portions, staff were very friendly, helpful and professional. Would recommend booking in advance and only open Thursday to Sunday.
Amazing !! The food was delicious, I went for the beef blade the portions are huge and all freshly cooked, yes you have to wait for this as you would expect. Beers was great too. Lines were obviously very well kept. Lou was lovely. As was Pauline the owner all made us feel extremely welcome includi
If you are in the area and are looking for a great meal and a pint then this is the place for you. Friendly staff and locals make this a good place to visit.
We stayed here camping very good rates and clean toilets. We had a meal 2 of the 3 nights in the restaurant when we were camping. Fantastic food and very friendly staff especially the cleaner who we met on the morning or our arrival and the waitresses who also worked in a school unfortunately I didn
Cosy and a very friendly welcome. I had the roast beef, plate of food was a big portion of meat. More than enough and then lots of veg too.. very nice and very good value. Update: Just been again, I had fish goujons as a starter from the specials. It would have done me as a main! Was very well loo
Absolutely loved it. I've read all the negative posts in the past and they are all petty and unfounded. The toilets and showers were clean at all times, pub food was excellent and good value for money. And the staff are very friendly too. I will definitely return and tell all my friends about it..
Food excellent and plentyful. Reduced capacity on the field at the moment which is nice. Showers / toilet block clean For us there were no bad points.
The most delicious lamb I've ever eaten in my life...
Popped in for Sunday lunch whilst on a walk, excellent food, lots and lots of it, very good vfm, gf options, good beer and friendly staff. If the portions were smaller we'd have had a sweet but couldn't fit any more in. Lovely atmosphere and covid safe.
Nice little pub in the middle of the countryside with deer and sheep to watch through the windows. Nice Sunday lunch but I like beef to be rare so it was a bit too well done for me but loads of good vegetables served with it. The have a patio to the rear for better weather times. Better to book thou
