There is always good food here, prices are very reasonable and when I come here it's always busy as a consequence.
I had chicken strips & BBQ sauce followed by beef Stroganoff which were very tasty and filling.
Service is really prompt and the staff are lovely.
A quiet midweek meal with a friend. As usual great staff and tasty home cooked meals, liver and bacon for me and corned beef pie for my friend. All hot and fresh, yum. Although I didn't have the dog with me the bar is very dog friendly and there is a great dog menu as well.
The food was excellent! We were welcomed and despite the pub being busy and with a wedding group too, we were served with our orders very swiftly. Lovely atmosphere and a friendly venue.

Fantastic Sunday Lunch. Portion size was incredible. After getting off at wrong bus stop we nipped in the Daleside Arms because we thought we would have ages to walk they were quite rude in manner of telling us we have book. A lovely village pub with friendly staff. Dog friendly in the bar and beer garden. Very tasty food, which they kindly boxed up for me when I couldn’t eat it all. You can stay overnight in your motorhome/camper in the carpark, just check with them at the bar.

Just got back from green tree the food was amazing I had chicken and ham pot pie with chips I said I didn't like peas so was offered veg instead hubby had chicken and chips. Staff very friendly and loved background music so chilled, would definitely go back
