We stopped here over a week ago and absolutely loved this tea room. What a little cracker with such lovely views. Highly recommend the Brocolli & Stilton soup with the sun dried tomato bread which was just delicious. We both agreed it was one of the best soups we’ve ever had. The two ladies there we
Little hidden gem. We stayed in Kenmore and were recommended to visit the local area. We had coffee and cake before a gorgeous walk up the mountain. The best homemade carrot cake! Then we came back and had their soups with bread (my toddler loved!) and a panini.
The best food we had on our trip. The
After a wonderful day's fishing on the River Lyon I stopped off at the Glenlyon Post Office for a bite to eat and received a very warm welcome and really enjoyed their coffee and freshly made scone & jam. A really enjoyable experience and I will definitely return when next on a fishing trip to the L
One of the best scones I’ve ever eaten, and lovely carrot cake too. In the most beautiful setting. Perfect to load up on snacks or pause for a rest when cycling or hiking. Lovely staff, just perfect.
We decided to have a drive around the Ben Lawers area and had the best surprise when we found this lovely tearoom. Lovely soup menu and the very best shortbread. The ladies made us very welcome and added to a pretty special day out.
The most beautiful Post Office location in the UK? It'd take a lot of beating I think. Shut when we turned up (lady was having her covid jab) but a local farmer turned up whilst we were sat outside and sorted some cold bottles of coke for us! Brilliant!
Bridge of Balgie is about 50 yards up the road
Hearty food and proper coffee in the middle of nowhere. Lovely team and so welcoming and helpful to cyclists.
Stopped while out for a drive during a holiday at loch Tay.
Stunning spot and a cracking cafe.
An amazing find, with stunning cakes and soup.
Highly recommended
Like the Last Homely House, Elronds House in Rivendell, the Tearoom welcomes all who are adventuring through the beautiful scenery of the Highlands and Glenlyon. Warmth and friendliness are key words and cakes as delicious as I imagine the Lembas bread of Lothlórien.
Thank you!
Ohhh, and they have
Lovely place. Great welcome - I squelched in after a sudden rain storm, just as they were closing, and was immediately offered a towel!! Great coffee and fab carrot cake.
A super spot, with riverside tables (for drier days).
Definitely worth stopping for.
Thanks guys
