We walked in to the restaurant without reservations. The restaurant was pretty full. Nevertheless one staff warmly welcomed us to the bar and we were lucky to hear to hear that the food was served within the bar area too!

The Old Station has a vintage atmosphere of an old railway station. It is absolutely worth a visit and stay for dinner. Some few products are not self-made but industry pruducts. You taste the difference cause the own products are very good.

Good food, a bit more upmarket than standard pub fare. The menu is limited, but all the choices look good. Highly recommend you book for an evening meal!
They will do takeaways, but only if the restaurant isn't too busy.
This was the food highlight of our vacation in Scotland. The food was literally perfect. Service was friendly and excellent. I really can't say enough about how much we enjoyed this.

Absolutely loved the restaurant and food, with a great atmosphere and wonderful service...topped off by a visit from the Royal Scotsman train parking up for the night at the station platform. A fantastic evening...thank you.
Absolutely amazing service, they were willing to let a child in the party use the toilets and not even buy anything but because of this we decided to sit and stay.

Outstanding food and great service with very nice atmosphere (literally, a train station). The best meal that we had in Scotland. I like but do not love salmon. This was exceptional. Our host/the owner bought it on the docks from the fishmonger TWO hours before we got there. It was THAT fresh!
