Great experience stopped on the way home. Great menu settled for carvery as it looked fab. Cauliflower cheese Sauce is my bench mark for a roast. Brilliant they serve it everyday I think. Great atmosphere, Staff generally very good. There's always one lol. The only thing I wouldn't have is the pigs in blankets. Not worth the extra as a bit underwhelming. It's a 9.5 for me πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ‘πŸ»

Great comfortable and clean atmosphere serving really good portions of very tasty food, my sirloin steak was cooked to perfection, the peppercorn sauce was deliciously creamy and the chips excellent. Shame the carvery wasn't on today and the serving/ordering staff at the bar could be a little more attentive. We will definitely return.

Called in for a quick bite before heading home. We had the carvery which was lovely and hot. Plenty of good fresh veg and gravy. Washed down with a nice cold beer and water for the driver. We love this place and it even offers accommodation.

It was excellent, friendly welcome with our table all ready for us, a young man looked after us and explained how the breakfast worked with the continental, also looked after our dietary requirements with no fuss, all the food was hot and fresh and soon replenished the continental on request. We will definitely be visiting again, we need to try the carvery next! Emma

We visit The Tulip Queen every week and we cannot fault the staff or service. In fact, they go above and beyond in the way they all look after my wife and I, as she has Alzheimer's! Nothing is ever too much trouble and make us feel very welcome every time we visit. Everyone is extremely polite, pleasant and friendly but I would especially like to name the following as having gone the extra mile when engaging with my wife: Adam, Kelsey, Angel, Alex and Amy. I would also like highlight Kaylee. Kaylee took it upon herself to create a picture menu of what is available as my wife needs visual cues now when making a choice as words alone (written or verbal) are no longer enough. Kaylee's initiative has been greatly appreciated by us both, as I have verbally stated to her manager. I have taken this opportunity to provide feedback in the hope it is recognised beyond the Tulip Queen premises.

It was extremely busy, so pleased we booked a table. We were seated straight away. We were about half an hour before our food arrived but it was virtually a full restaurant so we expected a small wait. Our meals were excellent- still by a million miles the best tasting beefburgers around! We shall definitely be back. Never had a bad meal yer. Well done all.

Polite staff and overall a very pleasant experience. I had the ultimate chicken burger and although it was pleasant it wasn't the best. The chicken burger itself was a little dry and the pot of chicken gravy was very much needed. I also think it was a bit pricy for what you get. Maybe a side of coleslaw or onion rings would have made all the difference to the perceived value of the meal.

We went tonight there was 8 of us a baby. The place was packed but a wonderful atmosphere. But come to write a review. A staff member called Amy was running around. She really was working hard. All the staff was. But she really shone out she didn’t stop bless her. She deserves a medal. A lovely hard working young lady xx

There was a mix-up of our food order which was quickly rectified. We were offered free drinks, nice gesture. They seemed to be low on staff but hopefully that will improve, having said that we enjoyed our visit and would recommend it. See you again soon.

The two mains my husband ordered were unavailable. Food was good although slow delivery. Friendly helpful staff. Nice environment although where we were sat near the toilets is not so comfortable. The two chairs on my side of the table were very badly stained and rather dirty. I think your wine prices are way too high.

Had a table for 12 booked easily over the phone. Food was great as was the staff and the price was responsible. Would highly recommend trying it.

Breakfast was quick, well organised but very salty bacon, coffee was ok but nothing special. The rooms in the hotel offer good value although the cleaning was let down a little as no one cleaned off the hundreds of dead fruit flies from my window sill for the three days I was there. The rest of the room, bathroom and bedding was spotless

We visited here for myums birthday and it was a lovely place. The menu was big so a good bit to choose from and the drinks were lovely. I asked the staff if they could sort out a cake I gave them to bring out for dessert and they were very professional about it. Not to mention for 7 of us it only cost us Β£60 for food. Would highly recommend!
