A lovely airfield and the Runways cafe serves some lovely food. The cakes are awesome too! A great way to spend an afternoon sitting outside with a cup of tea and slice of cake watching the aircraft take off and land.

A very nice, friendly and informal airfield in southern Lincolnshire, with a good cafe too. Closed on Mondays.

I flew into Fenland last week. No PPR needed and a friendly radio service on arrival. Very good cafe, great selection of home made cakes and everything is freshly cooked. Recommended

Had a great time at Fenland doing a tail wheel conversion on the Chipmunk. Fenland is a lovely friendly place, saw some really interesting aircraft land there. Dave was a brilliant instructor on the chipmunk, made me feel at ease in a new (awesome) aircraft, very encouraging and made it a lot of fun. Chippy rocks!! 😃😎
Smashing food . You need to check they are open I reckon, but bank holiday Monday was very busy and I am not surprised. If you like a decent cake after a good lunch well. ... they had so much choice. And to watch little planes and microlights taking off and landing it was fun.
We have been very impressed on each of our two visits, we will go back again.
Nice place for a visit especially today with the nice weather. Not much flying activity but a nice cuppa. Small groups of motorcyclists welcomed.
Its fun just watching the comings and goings of the light aircraft at the weekend, I'm told it has a decent cafe too.
I went to watch an aerobatics competition. Had an absolute blast! Staff are very friendly, the food was great, and the fancy flying was a joy to watch!
Very enjoyable few hours at the VAC Fly in made even better by a very tasty full English.
