I took my 18 year old grand-daughter here for lunch. The meal was excellent, the service was second to none. The food whilst a little expensive was wonderful and excellent value for money.
I will certainly go again and would recommend this place to anyone. A must to try.
Absolutely lovely meal. Plenty of choice. Very friendly staff. Couldn't be more helpful. It was really busy they coped excellently. Definitely go every week if only night shift didn't get in the way.
I went for an evening meal with a friend and was a bit disappointed in the meal.
The Ship Albion is under new management, whilst the atmosphere was still excellent, there was a football match on the screen in the bar because it is open planned we had a very noisy meal which spoilt the evening.

Went for the carvery. Would definitely recommend. Great service with a smile, very accommodating and excellent and sizeable carvery. All fresh veg and home cooked potatoes, stuffing and yorkshires! Lovely atmosphere and quiet music. Would highly recommend.
The Ship, unfortunately, has the look of one of those pubs on the outskirts of town that passers-by should avoid; however, this couldn't be further from the truth. Inside, you access quite a small area when entering through the street door, which has that 'old pub' feel...but the hidden gem here is
