Turned up without a booking (recommended) however wasn't in a rush and within 30 mins we were sat down. Good atmosphere, reasonably priced drinks and food. Food was better than expected, we had some nibble starters belly pork bites with apple sauce, mac n cheese bites with spicy jam and duck spring
The restaurant only had 2 people working tonight (Saturday) however the service was impeccable and the young lad serving in the restaurant was vey polite and smiled all the time. The 4 of us all had fish n chips which were the best weโ€™ve had in a very long time! Definitely recommend this place!
Nice pub, decent food, good beer on tap (Neck Oil). Have visited a couple of times since moving to the area. Only criticism is they donโ€™t take cash which I find strange but thereโ€™s a way around that - get someone else to pay!! They donโ€™t have a website which is unusual these days, only a Facebook p
Lovely location, amazing food and friendly service. We just moved to the area during lockdown and have been waiting to enjoy a meal here. We weren't disappointed! The takeaway style tapas was delicious. We are looking forward to tasting more of the menu once you are fully up and running again. We h

Very friendly staff and very happy to have been given a table for the same evening that we turned up. Quick service and without a rush for the next customer. Top Banana ๐ŸŒ
First visit to the ship. Went as a double date ๐Ÿ˜€..food was amazing staff were lovely. The setting and decor is perfect and lovely area outside and couldnt fault anything. We will definatly visit again and very soon. I will attempt to up load dome pictures of the food
Very good food and service. We travel past another Marstons to get to the Sugar Mill !!!
The food was good, beer excellent, just shut too early, which was a shame but other than that. I highly recommend
We arrived without having pre-booked and were served quickly. The food was delicious and we were not rushed at all.

Had lunch Thursday,food and service was great.honey glazed ham was to die for,mum enjoyed it to.good surroundings as well.will return soon.
We were in the area looking at properties and found this lovely country pub.. Lunch was nice, and bar staff were also very helpful Would definitely recommend
Nice friendly staff. Our choice of nibbles were very tasty, especially the falafel. We both had the pie of the day and was not disappointed and served with fresh vegetables all served nice and hot however the pub was quite chilly which was a shame. Will go back again but when it's abit warmer.
Beautiful pub and gardens stopped here as was driving past and was lunch time so popped in, lovely ppl, beautiful food and a amazing garden and patio area, great find.
This is a fantastic pub to have a very tasty meal and a drink in great surroundings and with a great garden where you can sit to enjoy your meal or drink
They fitted us in as we just turned up. Very friendly and the food was lovely.
