We called in this lunchtime to see Lisa, Simon and team after a walk along the canal. We received a very warm welcome infused with a bit of cheeky banter, as we perused the menu. We decided on a plough mans platter and smoked salmon, crayfish and prawn salad to share. Both were very nicely presented and tasted amazing. The pork pie, cheeses, crackers, piccalilli, seafood....everything was sooo tasty. My hubby enjoyed the coffee so much, he ordered a second! We also had the good fortune to be offered some eel to try...delish...who knew! The deli has a nice ambience and is tastefully decorated. Thanks guys for a lovely dining experience, we'll definitely be back as there's so much more we'd like to try and can highly recommend it.

Fantastic food, warm and cosy atmosphere, cheerful and lovely staff, a great space to eat good food, drink good coffee and just be. The champion on the menu for me is the poached eggs with feta, but there really is something for all palates xx

Been in a few times now, and every time it’s been lovely. They are always very friendly and welcoming as soon as you walk through the door, very accommodating too. I tend to stick to plain and simple breakfast butties but it looks like they offer a great selection for the slightly more adventurous people about. Not to mention them delicious cakes on the top that keep looking at me ! Thanks and good luck!

Went in for the first time yesterday, staff were really friendly, food was lovely, had something from the menu, asked for a slight change which was no problem at all. Pretty decor, lots of time and effort has gone into doing the space up. Looking forward to going again!

We popped in to the Larder Delicatessen this morning for our breakfast. It was absolutely delicious. We had Rosti and Egg stacks with cured bacon and coffees - my flat white was perfect. We will definitely be coming back and bringing friends and family. Recommend 100%

Just had the most amazing salad here with chicken, chorizo and grilled halloumi...so tasty! What a great menu too! It was difficult to choose so we will have to come back! Beautiful coffee and although I didn't have any, the selection of cakes was amazing too! Lovely, friendly service too

The Larder hosted my nanna's 90th birthday last Saturday and helped to make it the perfect evening for her. We had a buffet and all of the food was lovely, we were even able to take leftovers away with us afterwards. Everyone at The Larder went out of their way for us and their efforts were appreciated by us all. I would highly recommend to anyone looking to host a private event. Thanks again!

A lovely quaint deli in the heart of Sowerby Bridge. From the the moment you step in welcomed by friendly staff and presented with a scrumptious menu, which lived up to its expectations. Not only perfectly presented but the quality of product on each dish coming out was second to none. Ticked all the right boxes. Bravo.

Top tier butties! Just had a coronation chicken sandwich and it was unbelievable. I work all over the country so visit loads of different sandwich shops, I definitely know a good sandwich when I see one, this is up there with the best. Good job I live miles away or I would spend a fortune in this place.

Very friendly and very very helpful place that serves great food. Service is a little slow when busy so plan for that rather than expect speed. It's a busy small place but worth it. Vocally talk about allergy too, since much of the breakfasts are cooked in butter, which is great unless you have a reaction. The owners and managers are really friendly and helpful though so highly recommended.

We each had the large breakfast and a tea. The food was top quality and simply the best breakfast we have had anywhere. The staff/service was great in such a busy and compact shop which is also dog friendly, although we would't recommend taking even an English Bull Terrier sized dog like ours in there. The bill was £26.20 on 21/1/23 not cheap we know but were definately going back next time we are in Sowerby Bridge. highly recommended.

Stumbled upon this place while visiting friends. We has poached eggs with feta and a sandwich. Was fresh and different, so many options plus great coffee. Will definitely be back to try more of the menu. Vegetarian and vegan options including milks
