Nice tea room - generous tea pot size - great service and tasty scone with jam & cream : sadly no dairy free cake option…but worth a visit on the high street

Very good indeed. Spacious, clean and welcoming. Popped in on a day visit to Southwold for coffee and cake with some friends. Attentive service, nice coffee and selection of home baked cakes. Can highly recommend.
Good place that is obsessed with jam. The tearoom sells high-quality food and the toilets are easily accessible as they not only have a sign but it is downstairs. In addition, there is outdoor seating with umbrellas that covers the majority of the sky so it's nice during summer.

Oh my goodness, what an amazing find... Tea was out of this world, as was the jam and scones. Sat outside in the gorgeous sunshine and relaxed. The staff.... what can I say, they are superb, friendly, helpful. Tiptree jam and preserves are what the Queen uses, (well they have a royal warrant) sooo tasty. Hmmm. Pay a visit you won't be disappointed
Came here for cream tea. As usual fantastic service and fine tasting scones with cream & jam. Sat outside which was a little disappointing. Decking is beginning to rot and crumble could be an issue with someone not steady on their feet. Bi-folding doors could do with a good clean especially where tables are positioned right up against the glass. Service by staff was fantastic would think twice before eating outside again.

After being given a gift voucher by a very dear friend as a treat I headed to this tearoom with my daughter. Sat outside which is a lovely little area. Ordered the afternoon tea for two. It arrived and looked absolutely lovely. The sandwiches, coffee and scones were delicious. The cakes however were very disappointing. Felt dry and crispy and indeed they were like biting into sawdust.
Such a shame as everything else was perfect. Spoke to the staff who were very apologetic and offered us alternative cakes - we accepted and took these home as we had lost our enthusiasm at that time. Am delighted to say the replacement sweet treats were lovely and much appreciated.
Shame the staff failed to notice the dried up initial offerings but did make up for the dissatisfaction with the replacements.
Staff were friendly and other that the cake issue it was a very pleasant visit.
Visited for the first time yesterday with a friend. We had the afternoon tea which was very nice. Nice little cafe and it's also dog friendly 🐾.
