Excellent deli Big queue on a dull weekday Sausage rolls and pork pies 🥧 were delicious Salad and options for sandwiches and rolls there too. Good choice of drinks and snacks and cakes Highly recommended
The Black Olive Delicatessen is a great deli on Southwold High Street that stocks a fabulous and fresh selection of delicious pies, cakes, bread and salads. Lovely comforting food for a day at the beach. The best pies of Suffolk, Highly recommended!
I could have bought and eaten one of everything in this wonderful Delicatesant. We had the Steak & Stilton pie, Sausage Roll and Pork Pie, all of which were delicious and did not hit the sides going down. My only complaint is that I wish I lived closer so I could visit more often.
This is a well-stocked delicatessen situated in the sea-side town of Southwold. When we visited, they had some interesting dry goods and a range of different fresh produce. The service was very good and they were happy for me to try a small amount of some unfamiliar cheddar cheese. It was deliciou
Oh my goodness, what a great deli this is! Fancy sausage rolls, pies of all sorts, for both veggies and carnivores. And, to accompany your selection, there is a range of salads in S, M and L...pick and mix as you choose. Cheeses and breads and crackers too.
A lovely deli - we stopped by to buy healthy salad items for lunch and weren't disappointed. They have lots of other yummy items to choose from including jams and pasta - every shape lol
This is the most well stocked delicatessen with interesting local produce. We bought some delicious pies filled with different fillings, local cheeses, homemade coleslaw,, rollmops. The service was friendly and informative and we would definitely return.
Fantastic selection of pies and savoury tarts, scotch eggs, sausage rolls, and a wide range of other salads and deli items. Husband said it was the best sausage roll he's ever had! My goats cheese and tomato tart with a side of carrot salad was great too.
Well balanced and very Vegetarian tasty pies with a great crust. Veggie scotch egg nice too.Not necessarily cheap, but great value for great produce.
The sale of Pieminster pies first attracted our attention to this place. So far from Bristol but having these available (I also found out that the Moo & blue had been (temporarily) discontinued). However they also sell some of the best Scotch Eggs - recommend the Chorizo and humongous sausage rolls
Stopped by on my way home back to London for some pies to take away to eat later that night; excellent very appealing selection & friendly staff...oh & did I say the selection I chose tasted superb?! The Scotch Egg with caramelised onion & the standard pork pie were both the best I’ve ever had...& I
Busy deli with great produce. Large selection of salads , cheeses, olives and much more. For the salads you choose your container size which starts with small and get progressively larger each have a set price. These are then filled with your choice of salad, hummus or taramasalata. Your choice can
A frequent stopping point when we visit Southwold. We each take it in turns to go in and select our goodies whilst the other holds the dog outside. This was the place that first introduced us to Pieminister pies before they were readily available in supermarkets. Go in expecting to spend quite a bit
Lots of choice for a variety of products. We opted for a salad and quiche which we took down to the beach front to eat. It was delicious. Quiche was warmed up for us (at a small extra charge). Staff were very friendly and helpful.
