Our annual visit to The Sutherland and as usual the service was first class and the food amazing. The flavours and attention to detail were second to none, absolutely delicious. Definitely the best restaurant in Southwold. Can't wait for next year. Thank you.

First time visiting Sutherland House and we had a wonderful anniversary dinner and overnight stay. We were given the John Sutherland Suite which was absolutely delightful and a brilliant bonus. Our dinner and breakfast were everything you could have hoped for, with service that could not be faulted.

Had dinner on the recommendation of my son in law whilst staying in Southwold. Friendly staff and good service. Food was outstanding. Had the pork belly which was truly excellent plus a bottle of the recommended Malbec which was great. đ a lovely experience and really want to go back

Quirky restaurant that really delivers a nice experience. Enjoyable evening good food, friendly staff and nice environment. All set in lovely Southwold a short walk from the seafront all pluses.
My wife and I managed to book a table for dinner - a must 2-3weeks in advance. We were warmly greeted by the hosts who made us feel very welcome. The beer/gin/wine selection was broad and nicely balanced. We had the salmon and soup to start which were both balanced and just the right size portion. F
