Absolutely amazing cakes that just melt in the mouth. Gluten free flour blend is also totally fantastic and makes a fabulously light and scrummy cake that you would never know is gluten free. Cannot recommend highly enough. Oh and Hayley is pretty awesome too

Amazed that all the cakes in this beautiful place are gluten free. Will definitely be bringing my mum who loves cake but finds the choice is so limited in most places for people with coeliac disease. Think she will have trouble deciding between the bakewell and blueberry good luck in your new venture.

Have followed Hayley & Si's story & dream and to actually visit today was just amazing Such friendly staff, lovely cakes and drinks selection in a perfect location. Just wished I'd brought my book so i didn't have to leave. Can't believe that people are giving awful reviews to a couple who have decided to take the plunge and realise their dream in a time when you hear so many places struggling. All mine cakes can only get better and it also proves it by how many people were there today xx

Recently moved to the local area and decided to go for a little trip and stumbled across this little gem! The staff were so nice and the brownie I tried was the best I have ever had and to top it off 200degrees coffee Little bit if heaven Will be a weekly occurance I feel.

My cake Friday order arrived through the post in excellent condition and beautifully packaged! The coconut and lime cake and lemon drizzle were both beautiful moist. The lemon drizzle was the first lemon drizzle I have bought with enough lemon tang! My friend was delighted with the cakes and my partner couldn't tell the cakes were gluten free! The cakes are the best I have ever tasted,I will be ordering more! I highly recommend the cakes and very helpful service from Haley.

Finally got to try the amazing gluten free brownie! I never wanted it to end. A gluten free cake that's not dry and boring, instead it was full of flavour and how cakes should be. Thanks!

Lovely place to visit with family with kids and even dogs, great view and nice food, I was a little disappointed in desserts, especially with triple chocolate brownie that I had big expectations for, however, breakfast and drinks were lovely although a little pricey.

I love this place! I found out recently that I have a gluten intolerancy and have found it quite anxiety inducing to eat out. To know I could order anything and I mean anything from the menu safely made me so so happy! The food was also really delicious and we took cakes home! It's the best gluten free food we've had if you didn't know you'd think it was just the normal version. Also beautiful setting next to a tranquil lake! Highly recommended for anyone 😊

Such a relaxing gem of a cafe. Customer service perfect. Polite friendly and not ignored. Lovely views while relaxing with a coffee. Sausage roll was lovely although not what you would expect when you think of a sausage roll. Highly recommend

All Mine Cakes by the Lake, is a charming cafe located in the outskirts of Southwell, Nottinghamshire. The cafe is known for its amazing cakes and superb coffee, however, it’s not just the sweet treats that are worth raving about. If you’re looking for a hearty breakfast, I’d highly recommend trying their Full English Breakfast. It’s a classic dish that’s cooked to perfection and served with all the trimmings. All Mine Cakes by the Lake is situated in a beautiful location overlooking a fishing lake, making it an ideal spot for a relaxing breakfast or brunch. The staff are friendly and welcoming, and the service is top-notch. Oh, and afterwards why not pop into Southwell, loads of boutique shops to visit and the Minster (and it's grounds) are a must visit.

Quite simply the best of everything here. If you happen to be gluten free there is nothing on the menu you can't have ! If you aren't it still tastes yummy. Beautiful setting choice of seating inside and out. Plenty of parking. It's an absolute must in my eyes!

Choosing cake is a visual experience rather than a name, there’s nothing more tempting than seeing lots of different cakes under those glass lids looking all tempting while you choose that special one. But here they are all bagged up like pre-made sandwiches and they don’t look inviting at all. We did choose one and it was delicious but my work mate who I introduced to the venue today wasn’t impressed with the way they were displayed and decided not to bother. We did share mine and he was very impressed with it, but not the way they were sold.

Very efficiently managed by the most friendly staff. We were greeted by a very cheery store assistant at the door. There's a "one in one out" policy in operation at the store to ensure that the premises are COVID safe. After consulting the menu outside, orders are taken inside and there's one directional flow to reduce contact points. There is an abundance of delectable items on the menu ranging from Rasberry Crisp Brownies to Honeycomb Ice-Cream and Yorkshire tea. The ice cream and the tea were absolutely satisfactory. The service time was quite long but worth the wait.

Second time here, an absolute find for my wife, who is coeliac. Above average prices, but that's no surprise given the requirements of preparing gluten free food. I've paid not a lot less at the likes of Starbucks for far inferior coffee and some frozen no name cake. Viewed like that, I don't think it's expensive. Nice location, great staff, perfect cake stop when we're having a bit of a bimble on the motorbike. Recommended.

Went here for a repeat visit for a late afternoon coffee. The service is always very good and food our past experience of the cakes, they were as good as they look.
