Love this friendly traditional pub in the heart of southport. Warm and friendly with reasonable priced drinks. Good little stop over when in town.
Excellent pub a decent size plenty of seats and TV screens. But its the friendly atmosphere and low prices plus the efficiency of the busy bar staff that makes it tick and the clientele is on the mature side 30s to 70s mainly.
This is a very clean, professionally run, nothing is too much trouble for the staff and manager/owner Zoe, we have been several times and is now one of our go to places in Southport. Very friendly and homely place. No faults at all,

This was an amazing to pub to go out for an evening drink with a friend, with the special addition of music playing! The staff here..especially Emma we're brilliant with me and my partner. We enquired after accommodating 16 drinkers in July from Manchester...they said yes and it wasn't going to be a problem. Prices were reasonable and inside was great..a proper boozer!. Highly recommend this friendly local pub.

Really enjoyed pretty much 2 full days here on a weekend rugby do with great people! The regulars welcomed us all even though we took half the pub!And the manager was fantastic! clearly been doing it for year's and knows how to run a really busy vibrant Great British pub! Can't wait to do it again n
I liked Christmas night with karaoke there, nice atmosphere with Christmas song's..staff nice and friendly, drinks still decent prices .. busy but still OK for dancing .. not long queue in the bar staff doing really brilliant job.
A proper pub. With a unique atmosphere very friendly staff and very efficient staff. No one was left waiting to be served any longer than the next customer. I have been a publican all my life and this is a nice place with friendly people enjoying there local.
