Fab place to go with our two children who loved the waffles! They cater for our awkward carb free diet and staff are happy to tailor the menu to suit any needs too! Coffee is from the Crosby Coffee Company and is really good! Highly recommend!

Call in to this lovely, welcoming new Cafe. What a great, unusual ambiance, lots of talking points, warm, friendly staff, delicious coffee, interesting menu and food to die for. French onion soup from today's Specials' board was amazing. A must to visit whether by bicycle or on foot.

Popped in to experience my first time. I was very impressed with how welcoming the staff where, my bacon butty was top banana and the coffee was 1st class just like Daves performance around tdf. Some lovely little touches e.g. Names of tables and being able to sit under the legends wheels. "I'll be back" terminator 2 (1991) Proper quality stools

this cafe is soooooooo so good .... there's omelette then there's a Switchback feta & pesto omelette. ....fabulous so tasty. ... excellent service and the food is great ... though I would say when it's busy u could do with some help with more staff. .. it's not a complaint... just an observation. ... I met the proprietor in another shop in Churchtown ... lovely girl. .. I will be back & maybe have a pedal on ur bar stools !! which are fantastic. ... thank you

I visited Cambridge Road Cafe & Bar with three cycling friends on our ride to Southport from the Wgan area. The cafe has changed ownership since my last visit, which was quite a few years ago. Very friendly and quick service. All four of us commented on how good our food and drinks were and at a great price. My vegetarian sausage on toast with a large americano came to £7.50. One of my friends said his sausage sandwich was probably the best he has ever had, and mine is up there with the best as well. There is plenty of seating inside and two large wooden bench tables outside. Perfect for cyclists. Shame the cafe has lost the outside bike stand that the previous owners had. I had reason to use the male toilet, and it was very clean and tidy. This will be our cycling stop when we visit Southport again.

Lovely little family run cafe. Food was really good with some vegan options and even vegan cake. Coffee was also really nice. The staff are all lovely especially Emma and Lauryn! The cafe is also dog friendly and they have a ramp to make the entrance wheelchair accessible which is great! Will definitely come here again.
