We had a lovely time. The food was beautiful, the staff were happy and attentive. The 3 young people who were singing were awesome and I would love to see them again. The new manager was really helpful and happy to ensure everyone was attended to.

Very nice dinner and plenty full too. Had to wait a little more than usual, nevertheless, I would recommend the Shrimper to anyone.

Popped in for a meal for 4 people on a Saturday evening. The staff were dealing with a large party they had to cater for but still made sure we were looked after. We were made to feel like valued customers by the staff members. Food was spot on also, steak cooked exactly the way we asked for and good sized portions. We will definitely be returning!

Just had one of the best Sunday lunches ever. Perfect prawn cocktail for the starter and gorgeous roast beef with all the trimmings for main. Delicious. Excellent service and friendly staff. Highly recommended.

What a great place, served by Cori, food cooked by Robin. The food was delicious, the expresso cocktails went down a treat. Biscoff cheesecake will be devoured!

Formally 'The Shrimper' has had a complete turn around. The food is lovely, (chicken sharing plate is my favourite) but sandwiches and burgers are on point too. The staff are friendly and efficient and there's a nice warm atmosphere. I believe it has been taken on by the same company managing the running horses in Lydiate. The pub has had extensive refurbishment both inside and out and is accommodating for dogs. And there's a bingo night every Tuesday :) A very good pub indeed.
