Visited recently for my Son`s Birthday, we all had a lovely meal and at the end of the meal, the staff came over with a chocolate brownie with a candle on ( and sang Happy Birthday! ), it made his day, it was a lovely surprise for him, thank you :)
Little brother was 17 and as his favourite place, Nando's it was. My first visit to Ocean Plaza branch and it was welcoming, staff were efficient and friendly. Manager very helpful accommodating us with a toddler in tow and food was delicious. Best Nando's experience.
Been coming here since it opened and always been given a friendly welcome,all staff are efficient and friendly and the food has always been first class. Love it xxx
Staff are friendly, food is hot and tasty. Although it is a tad dear when 3 children are eating. Family friendly offers would be a great improvement and encourage loyalty!!! Lovely atmosphere and every time is an enjoyable family treat!
Good food. What can i say if you like chicken you cant fail here if you like it spicey then you have found the place to eat.
my daughter is never out of the place ive only been once with my wife and daughter. staff very friendly even though we got there late. food cooked fresh and hot ,vegitables and salad all had plenty of colour not over cooked or over dressed. plenty to drink in the all you can drink fizzy drinks section. coffe was excellent thumbs up for this one 8/10 will be back at some time.a lot down to the staff as the menu was not the best in the world. but good all the same
Love nandos! We visit the southport nandos quite often and have never experienced a problem. Particularly like the veggie burgers but t'other half goes for the chicken. I personally don't like chicken, it's fowl... We always have a portion of the deliciously hot and spicy nuts washed down with a bottomless glass of coke. Never had the deserts, don't fancy them really. Like the open kitchen here. The spicy rice and garlic bread make for good, tasty sides as do the chips. The sauces are hot but lovely. Staff usually friendly but we have noticed quite a high turnover but suppose this happens in the trade. Some can be a bit aloof but what the heck! The food's always good!
Quite expensive for food but a great place to go for a meal out. Very good customer service. Really tasty food espeically if you like chicken. Their Spicy rice is also very tasty!!!
Kids think it is great to go and help yourself to the drinks and ice ceams especiallt with the ice despencer they had.
Plenty of parking but you have to pay for the priviledge.
Disabled and pushchair access is not a problem.
Only thing is the food took a while to arrive.
ALso nice scenery when you have a window seat , you are also next door to the cinema.
Nandos is a dependable chain, if you like chicken!! Although it's almost as good for vegetarian if you like veggie or bean burgers. Order at the counter, food is brought to you. Cheap, cheerful and not bad value, although the puddings are a disappointment.

The food and the atmosphere are as expected. The pricing is a bit out there for 'upmarket' chain food. £8.25 for what is little more than a large slider for a burger and as for the "bottomless" Coke at £2.95. wow!
Some of the staff seem a bit clueless and why do you have paper towels in the bathroom but no basket to put them?
Not been for years but work mates talked me into coming along. Pleased to see much wider range available on menu! I chose the 2x thighs with garlic bbq sauce, hallumi & caramelised onions in pitta. Fries & rainbow slaw. It was very filling & very very tasty! The slaw is dry veggies, so asked for mayo to mix it with.
Staff were all lovely, however twice items were missing, food came out in wrong order, tables weren't being cleared/cleaned, cutlery was dirty.
Obviously it was busy so it was very noisy (which can't be helped) so not very relaxing xx
Food was fantastic, we ate around 3.30pm. Place was nice and quite and got a booth. Ordered through the app, food came very quickly and fresh. Didn't see a member of staff again until I'd finished and asked was it OK. Food was great but I did want an extra red salt for chios. Never mind.
I was very impressed with how Nandos staff handled my daughter's order. She has a pineapple allergy and the staff made sure her meal was prepared in an environment that was particularly cleaned for her and they kept us informed every step of the way. The staff were kind and accomodating. And as a bonus I got to hear Zambian music in their restaurant Made the experience special for me and my kids 🥳 because I have never heard Zambian music play anywhere else in England. Not even another Nandos.
The new sides are very tasty too.
I wouldn’t ordinarily review a Nando’s as we all know the service and we all know it’s chicken, but Niall in Southport really went the extra mile today!
He greeted you with a quip, sat you at a table and made you feel like you were in a table service restaurant.
He chased our order with the kitchen staff and was as polite as can be to every paying customer.

Really busy place not suprised with the location and kids holidays but food came quick and tasted great really enjoyed it and staff where really helpful.

Had to go to a local supermarket on the way home.
£5.50 for 3 bottles. Same make. Same size.
Beware the drink prices.
Nando’s Southport is one of my favourite Nando’s stores.
We’ve lived abroad for a couple years and been without Nando’s… this was our first stop!
The staff are super friendly, the manager Ollie was very polite and happy to help.
Food was excellent, arrived quickly and at a brilliant price.
Very clean throughout too!
First Nando's since lockdown.
Ordered online for collection, arrive at your collection time and wait to be let in to collect. Whole thing took about 10 minutes because we had a large order but order was correct, food was hot and delicious, no complaints here.
Food came quickly and tasted nice, servers seemed preoccupied but still helped with requests when asked
